Dear,
Greetings to the Hebrew Nation community! So many news events are popping in the US and in the Middle East, and events are unfolding by the hour. I sense we are in a time of great ACCELERATION. Please be keeping our brethren in Israel in your prayers. The "New Middle East" is arising, with Iran striving to be the kingpin, and Israel's fragile peace is being shaken. The tiny nation of Israel is now surrounded with enemies on all sides. Iranian warships have now docked in Syria, and they have announced plans to establish a permanent naval base there. Iran is flexing its military muscles in the region to assert dominance and fill in the "power vacuum" in the region. All of these things must come to pass. Adonai will accomplish a great deliverance for His people as we put our full trust in Him. Let me conclude with this portion of Psalms: "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in man.It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in princes...Pushing, the enemy pushed me to fall, but Yahweh helped me. Yah is my strength and song, and He has become my deliverance." Psalm 118: 8-9, 13-14 Blessings and shalom, Laura Densmore |

Wisconsin Governor Prepares Layoffs Amidst Standoff |
As Many as 1500 State Workers May be Laid off by April |
(Reuters) - A "frustrated" Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was poised on Friday to issue layoff notices to 1,500 state workers, blaming the move on a two-week standoff over his bill to curb union collective bargaining rights. The threat of layoffs increased the stakes in a bitter battle between Wisconsin Republicans and Democrats, a fight being watched around the nation as other states like Ohio and Indiana weigh rolling back public employee union power as part of budget-cutting efforts. Republican Walker told reporters late on Thursday that "extremist elements" among 14 absent senate Democrats had blocked progress in negotiations on his "budget repair bill." With no action expected on the bill, Walker said he will be forced to send out layoff notices to 1,500 state employees, saving some $30 million.

Senate GOP in Wisconsin Orders Arrest of 14 AWOL Democrats |
14 AWOL Democrats May be Away for 2 years to Block Senate Vote |
Republicans in the Wisconsin Senate passed a resolution Thursday calling for police to take 14 Democrats into custody for contempt after they fled to Illinois to avoid voting on a bill that would strip public-sector unions of nearly all their collective bargaining rights. On the same day, Republicans in the Indiana House agreed to impose fines of $250 per day on Democrats who are also in Illinois, boycotting the legislature over labor and education bills they oppose.
Walker said some of the absent Democrats, who have been threatened with $250-a-day fines and the prospect of being taken into custody if they return to Wisconsin, appear willing to stay away "not only for several more months, but potentially the next two years." Read more... |
Shariah Rally at White House "Postponed" |
|
The Shariah4America rally, organized by the Islamic Thinkers Society and headed by controversial British Imam Anjem Choudary, aimed to gather Muslims and non-Muslims outside the White House Thursday afternoon to "let the tyrant Barack Obama and the American people know that a new constitution beckons the U.S. called the Shariah, and that this worldwide revolution will see it implemented inshaa'allah (God willing) very, very soon," according to the rally's website.
But Choudary, who said last year that the flag of Islam will one day fly over the White House, now says the protest will be postponed in light of the conflicts in the Middle East, the U.S. sending troops to Muslim countries, and "in light of the fact that our message to the American people has been distorted by the media."

Two Arkansas Injection Wells May be Closed Amid Quakes |
Injection Wells Linked to Earthquake Swarms |
Two more earthquakes have been recorded in central Arkansas. No injuries or damage are reported. The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a preliminary magnitude 3.7 earthquake at 9:55 a.m. Thursday. That quake followed a preliminary magnitude 3.2 quake that was recorded at 9:31 a.m. Both quakes were just northeast of Greenbrier -- about 35 miles north of Little Rock.
The earthquakes come a day after the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission said it will consider temporarily shutting down two injection wells that have been linked to recent earthquakes in the region. Read more... |

Oil Rises on Libya Clashes, Mideast Unrest
Fox News |
Prices at the pump have jumped more than 29 cents per gallon since the uprising in Libya began, costing Americans an extra $108 million a day to buy the same amount of fuel.
High gas prices can have an extreme effect on the economy and on ordinary citizens -- from the trucking industry's ability to bring food to our tables, to our ability to drive to work and back. Brent oil prices pushed back above $116 a barrel and U.S. oil hit its highest since September 2008 on Friday, as fighting in Libya intensified and threatened the country's oil sector.Investors feared extended supply disruptions as rebels fought Libyan security forces in Ras Lanuf, a major oil terminal, and as fighting broke out in Bahrain and Yemen and top-exporter Saudi Arabia, where Saudi Shi'ites staged protests on Thursday. "Day of Rage" by Settlers in Israel |
Road Connecting Jerusalem and Tel Aviv Blocked by Right Wing Activists
Ynet News |
Some 15 right-wing activists blocked the highway connecting Jerusalem and Tel Aviv Thursday morning as part of a declared nation-wide "day of rage" organized to protest the demolition of illegal structures at the illegal Havat Gilad outpost in the West Bank. At around 7:30 demonstrators managed to temporarily block traffic on Route 1 with tires until they were dispersed by police. "We have come to protest against the police officers' rampage at Havat Gilad," one rightist told Ynet, "No one knows what is going to transpire in the next few hours. Every activist is operating independently." Settlers claim 13 people were hit by rubber bullets during clashes with police in the outpost. Read more...

Prayerful Response to "Days of Rage" |
|
"Days of Rage" are being led by radical groups all over the world (be they Islamist, Communist, Anarchist, Right-wing settlers, or Unions in the US). Recently, there was a "Day of Rage" in Israel, led by right-wing settlers. Below is a prayerful, spirit led resposnse to this activity from "Intercessors for Israel". Where protests, demonstrations and days of rage seem to be popping up everywhere, there is much we can glean from this spirit-led prayer that we can take to heart and apply in our own region of the world. Here is a warning against participating in such activities, with a thoughtful, scriptural and spirit-led prayer response to such "Days of Rage":(from Intercessors for Israel, March 4, 2011):
"Help us all to see our need to be united within when there is so much enmity from without. May the settlers be reminded of the words of the rabbis - that the nation was destroyed because of "sinat am". May they repent of hatred and sin. - It is a mistake to imitate the rage of the Arab nations. May the settlers find the Godly way to protest the destruction of their homes.
- Teach us how to disagree without causing division.
- We need to distinguish between right principle and a wrong heart. This should be a lesson for all of us.

Clinton Warns of Iranian Efforts to Fill Middle East Power Vacuum |
States US Must Stay Present in Middle East
by Jerusalem Post |
WASHINGTON - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Tuesday that Iran was aggressively trying to take advantage of the domestic upheavals across the Arab world, and warned that the United States needed to maintain robust aid and involvement in the region to keep Tehran from succeeding.
Clinton described Iran as working "every single day with as many assets as they can muster, trying to take hold of this legitimate movement for democracy," in testimony before the US House Foreing Affairs Committee.
"There's no doubt in my mind if we are not present, and present in resources, not just in rhetoric, not just saying what we're for but being able to deliver on that, others will fill that vacuum," cautioned Clinton.
"We are in a competition. I just stress over and over again, we've got to be there. We've got to fight back." Iran desires to control the Middle East's oil assets and to complete its caliphate from Iran to the Mediterranean. Read more...

Iran to Build Permanent Naval Base in Syria |
Balance of Power is Changing: Clear and Present Danger to Israel
by DEBKAfile |
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report, March 01, 2011
Just two days after two Iranian warships reached the Syrian port of Latakia via the Suez Canal, Friday, Feb. 25, an Iranian-Syrian naval cooperation accord was signed providing for Iran to build its first Mediterranean naval base at the Syrian port, debkafile's military and Iranian sources reveal. The base will include a large Iranian Revolutionary Guards weapons depot stocked with hardware chosen by the IRGC subject to prior notification to Damascus. Latakia harbor will be deepened, widened and provided with new "coastal installations" to accommodate the large warships and submarines destined to use these facilities.
Iran has much to celebrate, Debkafile's military sources report. It has acquired its first military foothold on a Mediterranean shore and its first permanent military presence on Syrian soil. Tehran will be setting in place the logistical infrastructure for accommodating incoming Iranian troops to fight in a potential Middle East war.

Canada Sounds the Alarm: Sets Parliamentary Debate on Iran |
Irwin Cotler Calls for Immediate Action by Canadian Government
by Daniel Smajovits, JEWISH TRIBUNE
|
MONTREAL - Speaking to a capacity crowd at the Beth Zion Synagogue in Cote St. Luc last Sunday evening, Mount Royal MP Irwin Cotler resoundingly called for immediate action by the Canadian government to combat the increasingly threatening Iranian regime.
"We wanted to engage the community," said Cotler. "We needed to sound the alarm in what I call the critical mass of threat in Iran: the nuclear threat, the threat of state-sanctioned incitement to genocide, the terrorist threat and the threat of massive domestic assaults." Read more...

Iran's Rise to Power and What it Means |
The World is a More Dangerous Place
by Caroline Glick |
A new Middle East is upon us and its primary beneficiary couldn't be happier. In a speech Monday in the Iranian city of Kermanshah, Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Politburo Chief General Yadollah Javani crowed, "Iran's pivotal role in the New Middle East is undeniable. Today the Islamic Revolution of the Iranian nation enjoys such a power, honor and respect in the world that all nations and governments wish to have such a ruling system." Iran's leaders have eagerly thrown their newfound weight around. For instance, Iran is challenging Saudi Arabia's ability to guarantee the stability of global oil markets. For generations, the stability of global oil supplies has been guaranteed by Saudi Arabia's reserve capacity that could be relied on to make up for any shocks to those supplies due to political unrest or other factors. When Libya's teetering dictator Muammar Ghaddafi decided to shut down Libya's oil exports last month, the oil markets reacted with a sharp increase in prices. The very next day the Saudis announced they would make up the shortfall from Libya's withdrawal from the export market.

Libya in Crisis |
Forces Loyal to Qaddafi Break Through Rebel Lines
by Fox News |
The United Nations estimates that more than 100,000 people have crossed into the neighboring nations of Tunisia and Egypt in an attempt to flee the oppressive crackdown by dictator, Muammar al-Qadhafi. One report estimated 1,000 people were escaping into Tunisia every hour.
Although the government has killed untold numbers of demonstrators, the opposition to al-Qadhafi continues to grow. Protestors have taken control of several cities and reportedly shot down a government plane. The military surrounded rebels in Zawiya, about 30 miles east of Tripoli, but the rebels have refused to retreat.
Several in the international community have called for al-Qadhafi to step down. "It is clear that this is an illegitimate regime that has lost the consent of the people," one leader said. "My message to Col. Kadafi is simple: Go now." Read more...

China Moves to Handle Foreign Trade in Yuan, not Dollars |
|
(Reuters)In a surprising turn of events, today's biggest piece of news received a mere two paragraph blurb on
Reuters and was thoroughly ignored by the broader media. An announcement appeared shortly after midnight on the website of the People's Bank of China.
The Chinese central bank surprised with a spectacular announcement: The would-be superpower wants to handle their entire future foreign trade in yuan, not in dollars. Beijing shakes America's claim to represent the key currency - with serious consequences for the U.S.. Read more...
China now holds nearly $1.6 Trillion dollars of the $4.4 Trillion dollars of US Debt held by foreign nations, 270 billion more than previously estimated. It is being reported that the dollars reign as the world's primary reserve currency is coming to an end.
What does it mean? As China sets the goal to settle nationwide trade in its own currency by the end of 2011, this will put further pressure on the international status of the US Dollar, bringing us closer to a US Dollar collapse and replacement with a global currency. This would be a tribulation event.
