(Obadiah 20) Edom's Doom Eve of the Messianic Age "This is what the Sovereign LORD says about Edom-We have heard a message from the LORD: An envoy was sent to the nations to say, 'Rise, and let us go against her for battle.'" Obadiah 1:1 Today, Israel is surrounded by the fires of revolt and civil war in neighboring Arab countries. These conflicts are creating huge updraft flames with the potential of leaping across Israeli borders soon. For over a generation, Israel has known what it can expect from each of its terrorist-harboring neighbors. Today, it's almost impossible to predict how this could affect Israel amidst enormous vacuums of unprecedented transitions. One factor that complicates this matter is that Jews around the world fervently expect the coming of Messiah. On the other hand, the Moslem world is appealing to their Allah that he sends their messiah known as the 12th Imam. Most Moslems believe their messiah will be a descendant of Muhammad. They say he will return just before the end of the world and his appearance will be preceded by a number of prophetic events during 3 years of horrendous world chaos, tyranny and oppression. I'm convinced they are working hard to create international chaos so as to precipitate their messiah's arrival. They also believe that he will rule for 7 years and that Jesus will follow him in prayer to the Moslem Capital of Mekkah. For the last five years, I've been predicting the fall of radical Islam-today we see them killing their own brothers! I have taught many sessions on television and in public seminars. Today's radical Islam is directly linked to ancient Edom-one of Israel's worst enemies in bible times. The future destruction of Edom is foretold by half a dozen prophets or more. The prophet Obadiah provides the clearest picture of how God intends to deal with Edom which is today's Islam. He also makes a crucial prophetic statement about Sephardim's role in the context of Edom's destruction. But before I point to Sephardim's role, let me highlight why God is so angry with today's Edomite Moslems and what He intends to do according to the Prophet Obadiah. Obadiah records a long list of reasons why God's anger has peaked against Edom (radical Islam). A few reasons why Obadiah declared God's anger was because of: Their deceptive pride (verse 3) their violence against their Jewish brothers (v. 10) how they stood aloof during their (Babylonian) exile (v. 11) how they rejoiced in Judah's calamity (v. 12b) and boasted in their trouble (v. 12c) how they invaded them in the middle of their disaster (v. 13) how they ambushed the fugitives (v. 14a) and the manner in which they caught and handed over the escapees (v. 14b) Since 9-11, these modern-day Edomites have caused approximately 10,000 terrorist attacks. The result has been approximately 60,000 dead and 90,000 injured. Experts say that of the 1.5 billion Moslems around the world, at least 10% of them are radical and extremely dangerous. This means there are around one hundred (plus) dangerous Moslems that threaten the existence of Israel as well as America. The very words of demonized Moslem leaders such as Ahmadinejad of Iran pour fuel to the fires of these Moslem countries. For instance, on February 2, 2008, he said that Israel is a "dirty microbe" and a "savage animal" and that they must be uprooted. What's worst is how an American journalist, Helen Thomas, made a foolish statement that got her instantly fired as a writer for the Hearst Newspapers. On May 27, 2010, she told a Jewish journalist that all Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine (Israel)" and go home to "Germany, Poland and America." It's important to know that the Moslem Manual called the Hadith demands its followers to feverishly adhere to doctrines of hate and violence. This Manual says: "Jihad (struggle/war) is your duty under any ruler, be he godly or wicked-and "Paradise is in the shadow of swords." Obadiah's chronicles the actions God intends to take against Edom. In brief and succinct words he reports the horrific things God is about to cast on Edom. The 18th verse makes it real clear that God will take no prisoners or, "there will be no survivors." Two things are at the brink of taking place which includes my people, the Sephardic-Anusim. At the exact moment when they're needed and wanted, they will make their entrance-not one minute earlier or a minute later! You can find this in the 20th verse. One bible version says they'll "occupy" and another version says they'll "possess" the Negev; either way you cut it, it boils down to Sephardim's inheritance. Secondly, not until these lost and forgotten Sephardic Anusim Jews have made their entrance, there will be an earth shattering spectacle as witnessed in Obadiah verse 21, and it states: "Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion to judge the mountains of Esau. . ." (NKJV) In other words, as soon as everyone is in place, including the Sephardic Anusim, then and only then do we see the grand finale begin to take place. We'll see "saviors/rescuers" of remnant Jews, which includes Sephardim, go up on Mount Zion. This army of champions will take over Jerusalem and her Zion and then they'll "judge the mountains of Esau." Some bible versions say they'll wreak judgment on Esau. Obadiah ends with the most spectacular prophecy of all ages. The last phrase of the last verse (v.21) prophesies, "And (then) the kingdom shall be the LORD's." A Jewish commentary says, "And (then) the kingship will be the LORD's." Nobody knows exactly when all of this will take place but all signs around the world point to the entrance of the Messianic Age when Messiah sets His rule in Jerusalem's Zion. Therefore, I am appealing to every Jew and Christian to pray that God will soon and swiftly open the doors that have been shut to Sephardic Anusim so that Israel may receive the reinforcements they will need before all hell breaks loose-on time for Messiah's arrival.
