month of October seems to keep coming up as a critical month when we
may see the "feathers hit the fan" on TWO fronts: A full scale Middle
East war breaking out and a possible global economic collapse.

places where we have been scattered, and you will one day return us to
the land of Israel.
Abba,

Israel Threats Credible and Serious
Efraim
Halevy, who in March told The Times of Israel that there would be
'nothing else left' but force if diplomacy did not quickly work, gives
stark assessment
The former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy, who told The Times of Israel in an interview in March
that there would be "nothing else left" but a resort to force if the
diplomatic track with Iran did not quickly produce a breakthrough,
hinted Thursday that the moment of truth on Iran's nuclear drive was now
imminent.
"If
I were an Iranian, I would be very fearful of the next 12 weeks,"
Halevy, who is also a former national security adviser and ambassador,
told The New York Times.
In
an Israel Radio interview later Thursday, he added that Israel's
threats of military action had a certain "credibility" and
"seriousness." He said the Iranian nuclear issue, and the Syrian issue,
were the key regional concerns, and reiterated that "If I were an
Iranian, I would be very fearful of the next 12 weeks."
The New York Times report,
focusing on Wednesday's talks here by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta,
said there was "feverish speculation" in Israel that Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu "will act in September or early October."
Apart
from Netanyahu's concern that Israel's military option would "soon"
become redundant, the paper cited several other reasons "for the
potential timing." Among them, it said, was the fact that "Israel does
not like to fight wars in winter." Also, Netanyahu "feels that he will
have less leverage if President Obama is reelected" while, were Mitt
Romney to win the November elections, "the new president would be
unlikely to want to take on a big military action early in his term."

Iranian
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's most recent call for the destruction of
Israel represented his most comprehensively anti-Semitic speech ever,
and is particularly "ominous" in light of Tehran's continued quest for
nuclear capability, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) warned Thursday.
Addressing
a group of ambassadors from Islamic countries earlier this week,
Ahmadinejad said the "annihilation of the Zionist regime" is not just a
Palestinian issue, but the "key for solving the world problems," and he
slammed US leaders for "kissing the feet of the Zionists."

Ali Khamenei summoned top Iranian military chiefs for what he called
"their last war council."
"We'll be at war within weeks," he told the gathering, DEBKAfile's exclusive Iranian and intelligence sources disclose.
Present
were Defense Minister General Ahmad Vahidi, Khamenei's military adviser
General Yahya Rahim-Safavi, Armed Forces Chief Major General Seyed
Hassan Firuzabadi, Revolutionary Guards Corps commander General Mohammad
Ali Jafari and Al Qods Brigades chief General Qassem Soleimani. The
commanders of the air force, the navy and ground forces were also there.

Barak: Nuclear Iran Far More Dangerous Than Pre-Emptive Israeli Strike

Barak:
Iran possessing nuclear bombs "would be many times more complex,
dangerous and costly, both in terms of human life and in terms of
resources, than a preemptive strike."
Defense Minister
Ehud Barak said Wednesday that Israel will soon need to arrive at a plan
of action regarding the Islamic Republic. He emphasized that "having to
deal with the challenge" of an Iran possessing nuclear bombs "would be
many times more complex, dangerous and costly, both in terms of human
life and in terms of resources, than a preemptive strike."
Barak added: "The
Iranians are determined to continue deceiving the entire world, in
order to achieve nuclear weapons. Whoever wants proof just needs to look
at the talks over the last few months." Barak said Israel would remain
responsible for its own security, rather than depending on other
nations, such as the US. Earlier Wednesday, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who
has the final say on all state matters in Iran, voiced confidence the
Islamic Republic can beat the latest punitive measures aimed at blocking
the country's vital oil and banking industries over the disputed
program.
US congressional
negotiators are presently working on new sanctions designed to crack
down on transactions with Iran's national oil and tanker companies, and
to hamper the ability of Iranian banks to transfer funds electronically.
The Islamic Republic has continued its nuclear development activities
despite increased sanctions and four resolutions by the UN Security
Council condemning Iran for its defiance of the ban on its nuclear
development.

Report: US sees Israeli Strike on Iran in October
|

A
senior and widely respected analyst with Israel's Channel 2 News said
in Friday's pre-Shabbat newscast that top American officials have become
convinced that Israel will launch a military strike against Iran's
nuclear facilities in October, just one month before the US presidential
election. Ehud Yaari had just returned from a trip to Washington, where
he told viewers that he had met with "the people one needs to talk with
about this matter," and that "my impression is that the Americans are
convinced that there is very high chance that Israel will decide to
attack in Iran before the elections in the US."
According
to Yaari, American officials see an Israeli strike on Iran as almost a
foregone conclusion, and are focusing on their response to the possible
outcomes of such an action.
Israel's Ha'aretz daily newspaper
reported on Sunday that the Obama Administration had recently briefed
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on its own back-up plan to
bomb Iran should ongoing international diplomatic efforts fail.
An
unnamed American official cited by the newspaper suggested that the
Obama White House was increasingly seeing the futility of the diplomatic
tug-of-war between Iran and the international community, and was
working feverishly to put together a viable attack plan.

Iran Preparing Mahdi's Special Forces

Army of operatives planning for terror, destruction of the West
|
The Quds
Forces, a special Iranian unit of thousands of operatives tasked with
exporting Iran's Islamic revolution, are being told to step up
preparations for terrorism for the coming of the last Islamic messiah
and the destruction of the West.
Ali Saeedi, the Iranian supreme
leader's representative to the Revolutionary Guards, emphasized during a
Friday sermon in Tehran that the Islamic republic must directly
confront America so that the necessary environment is created for the
reappearance of Mahdi, the Shiite's 12th imam, who will kill all
infidels and raise the flag of Islam in all corners of the world.
"In
three points of history, God directly confronts the will of unruly
humans in which, of course, the Right will overcome the False," Saeedi
said, according to the Sepah News, the Guards' official publication.
"The first point in history was during the era of pharaoh, the second
era was Bani Abbas, and the third is our current era in which it seems
that God has willed us to enlighten the world with the coming of Imam
Mahdi."

Obama Authorizes Secret U.S. Support for Syrian Rebels

(Reuters)
- President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing U.S.
support for rebels seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad
and his government, U.S. sources familiar with the matter said.
Obama's
order, approved earlier this year and known as an intelligence
"finding," broadly permits the CIA and other U.S. agencies to provide
support that could help the rebels oust Assad.
This and other
developments signal a shift toward growing, albeit still circumscribed,
support for Assad's armed opponents - a shift that intensified following
last month's failure of the U.N. Security Council to agree on tougher
sanctions against the Damascus government.
The White House is for now apparently stopping short of giving the rebels lethal weapons, even as some U.S. allies do just that.
But
U.S. and European officials have said that there have been noticeable
improvements in the coherence and effectiveness of Syrian rebel groups
in the past few weeks. That represents a significant change in
assessments of the rebels by Western officials, who previously
characterized Assad's opponents as a disorganized, almost chaotic,
rabble.

Syria Deploys Missiles Near Lebanon Border

Syia_Lebanon Border Heats up

Syrian
President Bashar Assad has reportedly ordered his armed forces to
deploy surface-to-air missile batteries along the Lebanese border, Arab
media reported Friday.The report follows Western intelligence agencies'
reports, including those in the United States and Israel, suggesting
that Assad has also been steadily relocating Syria's unconventional
weapons' stockpiles - considered the largest in the world - given the
escalating civil war in the country. Lebanon's Hezbollah-affiliated
Al-Akhbar newspaper reported that Damascus had shared "some of the
details" of its missile deployment plans with Beirut.

The Specter of Syrian Chemical Weapons
|
|
The
unraveling of the al Assad regime in Syria will produce many
geopolitical consequences. One potential consequence has garnered a
great deal of media attention in recent days: the possibility of the
regime losing control of its chemical weapons stockpile. In an interview
aired July 30 on CNN, U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said it
would be a "disaster to have those chemical weapons fall into the wrong
hands -- hands of Hezbollah or other extremists in that area."
When he mentioned other
extremists, Panetta was referring to local and transnational jihadists,
such as members of the group Jabhat al-Nusra, which has been fighting
with other opposition forces against the Syrian regime. He was also
referring to the many Palestinian militant groups such as Hamas and the
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, which
have long had a presence in Syria and until recently have been supported
by the al Assad regime.
The fear is that the jihadists
will obtain chemical weapons to use in terrorist attacks against the
West. Israel is also concerned that Palestinian groups could use them in
terrorist attacks inside Israel or that Hezbollah could use such
weapons against the Israelis in a conventional military battle. However,
while the security of these weapons is a legitimate concern, it is
important to recognize that there are a number of technical and
practical considerations that will limit the impact of these weapons
even if a militant group were able to obtain them.

Missile Fire on Tel Aviv Will Unleash Unprecedented Israeli Response
|
|
Former
intelligence chief Amos Yadlin says Israel is under threat of only
about 1,000 "effective missiles." When missiles start falling on Tel
Aviv Israel's legitimacy will drastically increase, as will our ability
to do things not done before, he says.
The real threat facing Israel is
not long-range missiles, but small rockets, former Military
Intelligence chief Maj. Gen. (res.) Amos Yadlin, who heads the Institute
for National Security Studies, said on Thursday at a conference on
"Israel's Homefront Preparedness."
"Israel is not threatened
by 200,000 missiles, as previously claimed. It is under threat of
perhaps 1,000 effective missiles and another 9,000 long-range rockets,
but the rest of the 190,000 rockets in the region are inaccurate and
short-range," said Yadlin, who served as the IDF's chief of Military
Intelligence from 2006-2010. "Let's put the threat into perspective, and
stop talking about missiles and start talking about rockets."

And so
Obama is supporting the advent of yet another Sharia state.Meanwhile,
note that Britain's newest export is jihad. "Foreign Office investigates
reports of Britons among Islamist kidnappers of journalists in Syria,"
by Colin Freeman in the Telegraph, July 28 (thanks to Banafsheh Zand):
The Foreign Office is
investigating reports that British citizens are among Islamist fighters
who kidnapped a British photographer and his Dutch colleague in northern
Syria.John Cantlie and Dutchman Jeroen Oerlemans were held by the group
for a week after they accidentally came across their camp while
crossing the border from south east Turkey to report on the uprising
against President Bashar al-Assad.
During their time in
captivity they were threatened with death unless they converted to
Islam, and both were shot and slightly wounded when they attempted to
flee barefoot. They were freed on Thursday night after a group of Free
Syrian Army soldiers turned up the camp and angrily demanded that they
be released.

Hilsenrath, the world's best central bank reporter, says that the
conclusion from this week is that the world's big central banks (the Fed
and the ECB, natch) are on 'red alert' over the state of the US
economy. Ben Bernanke and Mario Draghi, with words but not yet actions,
demonstrated this week that they are on red alert about the global
economy.
Expectations are now high that
Mr. Bernanke's Federal Reserve and Mr. Draghi's European Central Bank
will act soon to address those worries. But both face immense tactical
and political challenges and neither has a handbook to follow.

Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiah Yeshuah – is Yeshuah Yahweh. Like it is said in:
Gen_49:18 I have waited for Thy Yeshuah (Salvation), Yahweh.
Exo_15:2 Yahweh is
my oz and zimrah (song of praise), and He is become to me Yeshuah (salvation); He
is Eli (my Elohim), and I will praise Him; Elohei Avi (the Elohim of my
Father), and I will exalt Him.
And not a half-god, or another mighty-one who came between HaShem and
us! (Not, ‘It Suph’!) I believe many of us (Jews and Ephraimites!) have to
learn that!
