| War with Iran Has Already Begun |
| King News Interviews National Security Consultant, Jim Rickards
Today King World News interviewed resident expert Jim Rickards. Rickards negotiated the release of US hostages from Iran in 1981. His advisory clients include government directorates around the world and he is heavily involved in US national security issues and the Department of Defense. Rickards has also gained international recognition for his deadly accurate predictions regarding moves by central planners. This is what Rickards had to say about the situation in Iran: "Eric, this really could not be more serious. The fact that we, meaning the United States, are on a path to a war with Iran is very clear at this point. It does seem the countdown has begun and it's coming to a head sooner rather than later." "Things are moving very quickly. General Martin Dempsey, who is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has arrived in Israel and Israel is integrating itself with the U.S. European Command or EUCOM. So, at this point, the integration of the Israeli and the US operational capability, including NATO based in Europe, is very far along.
There are an enormous number of US troops in Israel. I don't know if people realize that, but they are operating the THAAD system (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense). They oversee weapons that will shoot down incoming Iranian missiles.
There are joint exercises going on between the US and Israel. At the same time Iran is conducting war games. There are a lot of moving pieces on the chessboard at this point. This is not just war gaming or thinking about what might happen, the pieces have actually begun to move on the chessboard.
For Israel this is really existential. The US would really like to see a world where Iran did not have nuclear weapons, but for Israel it is not a preference. If Iran gets nuclear weapons, Iran has said they will burn Israel to the ground. So, this is not just a strategic rebalancing, this is life or death for the Israelis..... SECOND CONFIRMING SOURCE: WAR WITH IRAN HAS ALREADY BEGUN
It might not seem like it, but the West has already launched its campaign to prevent Iran building an atom bomb. This is not a conventional war of the type we have recently experienced in Iraq and Afghanistan. On the contrary, rather than using thousands of troops and state-of-the-art weaponry to achieve our goals, the West is now waging a sophisticated campaign where it relies on its wits and ingenuity rather than brute force. The assassination of yet another Iranian nuclear scientist - the fourth in two years - is just one example of how this war is being waged.

| Iranian Officials Believe this is Blatant Warning that US will be Attacking Tehran
Without much media attention, thousands of American troops are being deployed to Israel, and Iranian officials believe that this is the latest and most blatant warning that the US will soon be attacking Tehran. Tensions between nations have been high in recent months and have only worsened in the weeks since early December when Iran hijacked and recovered an American drone aircraft. Many have speculated that a back-and-forth between the two countries will soon escalate Iran and the US into an all-out war, and that event might occur sooner than thought. Under the Austere Challenge 12 drill scheduled for an undisclosed time during the next few weeks, the Israeli military will together with America host the largest-ever joint missile drill by the two countries. Following the installation of American troops near Iran's neighboring Strait of Hormuz and the reinforcing of nearby nations with US weapons, Tehran authorities are considering this not a test but the start of something much bigger.

| US Naval Strike Group Arrives in Arabian Sea |
| Tensions Rise with Iran A new aircraft carrier strike group has entered the Arabian Sea and another is on its way, a Pentagon official said in a news briefing Wednesday -- a shuffling of the U.S. fleet amid rising tensions with Iran. Officials said there is no connection between the fleet movements and threats from Iran, however, the arrival of the USS Carl Vinson comes on the heels of Iranian military exercises in the Persian Gulf and threats to block the Strait of Hormuz, a major oil transit route. And the killing of an Iranian nuclear scientist in Tehran on Wednesday further escalated tensions, as the Obama administration denied any role in the death. What does it mean? (HN News editor comment/analysis): The military buildup in the Middle East is pointing to the breakout of war anytime. Key players will certainly be Iran and Syria. Will we see the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 and 39, with the enemies of the north (Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Hamas, Hezbollah) deciding to do a pre-emptive strike against Israel? We continue to watch the situation closely. If this does indeed happen, this will be a very strong indicator that we have entered into the final 7 year period (also known as tribulation, "Jacob's trouble") prior to the return of Yeshua. | Bashar Al-Assad states "conspiracy" to overthrow his government
Three people have reportedly been killed by security forces across Syria on Wednesday. Bashar Al-Assad has spoken to supporters in Damascus for the second time in the last 24 hours, reiterating his dismissal of calls to step down. He's blaming the ten-month-long unrest in the country on foreign-funded terrorists, promising to crush them with extreme prejudice. The UN says Damascus has stepped up its crackdown on protesters, but Assad claims no order was ever given to fire on civilians. The President's pledged commitment to Democratic reform, promising a referendum on a new constitution by March, and free elections soon after. RT talks to independent news editor James Corbett.

Tooba Mohammad Yahya, 41, is accused of conspiring with her husband, Mohammad Shafia, 58, and their eldest son, Hamed, 21, of running one of their family cars into a canal with their four relatives inside. In these tragic and disturbing circumstances, the editors of Frontpage felt it timely and relevant to run the video of Frontpage editor Jamie Glazov's speech in March 2011 to the San Fernando Chapter Valley Chapter for "Act! for America," in which he brought attention to the victims of Islamic honor killings and shed light on why the Left is in league with the Muslim murderers and turns a callous blind eye to the Muslim female victims. The phenomenon crystallizes the Left's contemporary unholy alliance with radical Islam.
