This week,the Fatah party, Abbas, who leads this party, came out and said publicly, "All of Israel is Palestine."  On 11/29/12, the UN voted to grant Palestine non-member status-- truly the nations have fulfilled the prophesy of Joel 3:1-2 to divide Israel. And now, Israel is under political siege from the nations, fulfilling Zechariah 12:1-3. "See, I am making Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the people all around, and also against Judah it is in the siege against Jerusalem. And in that day, it shall be that I make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples--all lifting it are severely injured. And all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against it."  The word "siege" in hebrew is matsowr, and it means: "something hemming in, a mound, distress".  What have we been seeing in the news?  Unending accusations from the nations against Israel for their development and building plans they have for West Bank Area C, and the Jerusalem E1 zone.  The nations have put Israel "under siege", and want to HEM THEM IN from any natural/normal growth or development. In their move to "put Israel under siege, hem them in, and even ERASE them from the map", there have been powerful repercussions to this. There is a strong and growing political right wing party in Israel,  the "Home party", headed by Bennett. Israelis know that neither Fatah in the West Bank nor Hamas in Gaza will EVER recognize Israel's legitimacy no matter where its borders are drawn. Hence the rise of the Jewish Home party, a movement to reclaim the Temple Mount and to reclaim ALL the land of Israel according to biblical definitions. This party has gone from 3 Knesset seats to 18 seats, in a sweeping surge of support. Even this very week, Moshe Feiglin, a Home party candidate for a Knesset seat, was arrested for praying on the Temple Mount. brought to you from Hebrew Nation Radio and Walking in Torah Ministries   December 16, 2012 Tevet 2, 5773 2nd day, Tenth biblical month, 6012 December 14_Sliver New moon sighted in Jerusalem  Dear, Greetings to the Hebrew Nation Community!  We are coming towards the end of the Feast of Dedication, the Festival of Lights, remembering back to the time when the Maccabees overthrew the Syrian/Greek occupiers of Jerusalem.   In the height of arrogance, Antiochus Epiphanes, (a shadow picture of the coming anti-messiah), defiled the Holy Temple by slaying a pig on the altar in the temple and setting up a statue of Zeus. It was a time of great persecution against the Jews; more than 100,000 were slaughtered between 168-165 b.c. Then a rag-tag group of Jews, known as the Maccabees, fought back and reclaimed the Holy Temple.  They rededicated and cleansed  the temple which had been defiled. Josephus tells the story that the one-day supply of olive oil for the menorah miraculously lasted for 8 days. And hence, the Festival of Lights, or Hanukkah, was born. Rededicating the temple: rededicating our lives Do you not know that you are a Temple (Dwelling place) of Elohim and that the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you?  If anyone destroys the Temple of Elohim, Elohim shall destroy him. For the Temple of Elohim is holy, which you are.  1Cor 3:16-17 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens of the set-apart ones, and members of the household of Elohim, having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshuah Messiah Himself being chief cornerstone, in whom all the building, being joined together, grows into a holy Temple in Yahweh, in whom you also are bring built together into a dwelling of Elohim in the Spirit. Ephesians 2: 19-22 Our body is a house, a dwelling place, a temple for the spirit of Yahweh. May we each take time to rededicate our bodies, our mind, our soul, our whole being back to Yahweh. May we be a set-apart people, walking before Him with clean hands and a pure heart. May we not become defiled in the polluted waters of the world swirling all around us, but may we walk in purity and in the fervent love of Messiah Yeshua. The riches of the treasure of Yeshua is hidden in our bodily "tent"; may His bright light, His joy, His love, and His peace shine through us during this season of the year! Assad has ordered the highly toxic Sarin gas to come off the shelf. The precursor chemicals have been "mixed", and once mixed, the deadly gas must be used within 60 days. The sarin has been loaded onto missile warheads and the warheads have been loaded onto multiple planes, its deadly payload ready to be delivered on Assad's orders. What targets does Assad have his sights on? Will he use them against his own people?  Consider this possible scenario: What if Assad decides to use the chemical weapons against Israel? Assad would go down in flames, but would win the respect and support of the Muslim world as he takes down as many Jews with him as possible! Truly, the region is on the brink of war. Please keep Israel and the Jewish people MUCH in your prayers!  This week, we also saw tens of thousands of people demonstrating in Tahrir Square in Cairo. People are protesting over the sweeping and near absolute powers that President Morsi has granted to himself; they are also protesting against the draft Constitution that was written up over a weekend which basically makes Sharia law the law of the land. The protests turned violent, and he was forced to leave the Presidential Palace for a day. Upon his return he vowed that he would go ahead with the Constitutional Referendum and would not tolerate an overthrow. Are we beginning to see the fulfillment of Isaiah 19?  Take time to look at this chapter, then compare to what is happening in Egypt! And, in the midst of all of this we have Israel. Egypt, Libya, and now Syria  have undergone the "Arab Spring" (or should we say "revolution"?). Kings have been toppled and replaced with new leaders, and the power void has been filled with Muslim Brotherhood leaders. Leaders who are deep seated enemies with Israel and who do not recognize her right to exist as a Jewish state. Who is pulling the strings behind the scenes? Who is orchestrating this?  Listen to this week's 1260 Report to hear this discussion! And now for some GOOD NEWS!  I have written a short piece that I believe you will find very encouraging and uplifting, titled....."I Look Forward to the Day".  It captures some of the visions/dreams of what lies ahead in our future as we get closer and closer to the final 1260 days prior to the return of Messiah Yeshua and then beyond, when we will finally see Him face to face!  Please enjoy this article and be encouraged and strengthened in your walk! And now I close with prayer, based on 2 Cor. 2:14-15 thru 2 Cor 3:1-3: Abba, may each one of us this week,  truly be a living letter, known and read by all that we come into contact with. May we each be a letter from Yeshua, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the Living Yahweh, not on tablets of stone but with the Torah written upon the tablet of our hearts. May we walk in obedience to what is written upon our hearts, because the Love of Messiah compels us.  May the sweet and precious fragrance of Messiah Yeshua perfume the atmosphere of all places where we go. This week we have seen a MAJOR EVENT happen on the world scene that is in fulfillment of biblical prophesy. On November 29, 2012, the United Nations voted 139 to 9 in favor of nonmember status for Palestine. In so doing, the nations of the world have come together in agreement to DIVIDE the land of Israel. This is a fulfillment of Joel 3:1-3 "For look, in those days and at that time, when I turn back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, then I shall gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I shall enter into judgment with them there for My people, My inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and they have DIVIDE up MY LAND. Scripture tells us quite plainly that when the nations divide/partition the land of Israel, they will MOST SURELY come under Abba's judgment. On 11/29/12, the nations FULFILLED this scripture: they DIVIDED the land of Israel. The nations will MOST SURELY be judged by Yahweh. The birth certificate for the rebirth of Israel was issued  exactly 65 years ago on the same day from the UN (11.29.47).  And, since it's rebirth as a nation, Israel has kept 65 Feast of Weeks (or Shavuots) in the land since their rebirth. The UN has now issued another "birth certificate" for a Palestinian state; this is an attempt, in an ESAU spirit,  to STEAL the inheritance of JACOB'S seed. Remember Daniel 9:24-27, with the 70 weeks that were decreed? There was a set of 62 weeks and a final set of 7 weeks.  Could it be that we are now in the 65th year, or the 65th "week" of Daniel's 70 weeks?  If you interpret the "weeks" as the number of "Feast of Weeks" (or Shavuots) that Israel has kept in the land since they were reborn as a nation, then we are now in Year/Week 65 of the 70 weeks of Daniel. If that is the case, then we may be getting very close to the MIDDLE of the final 7 year period, to the time known as "the Great Tribulation",or  "Jacob's trouble", to the final 42 months, the final 3 and 1/2 years, the final 1260 days prior to the return of Yeshua.  We continue to WATCH and PRAY as these events unfold! What are some of the other signs we are watching for and still need to see? *The nations attacking Jerusalem, "burdensome stone" (Zech 12:3, Zech 14:1-3) *The Gog/Magog War  (Ezekiel 38/39) *Jews storming the Temple Mount, rededicating it, and setting up an altar *The daily sacrifices restored on the altar on Temple Mount (Daniel 9:27) *The daily sacrifices HALTED (Matthew 24: 15-16) *The abomination set up in place of the altar (Dan 9:27) We are truly living in amazing times. I close with this shining scripture of hope and promise: But you, Israel, are My servant Jacob, whom I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham who love me, whom I  have strengthened from the ends of the earth and called from its farthest parts, and said to You, "Yo are My servant, I have chose you and have not rejected you. DO NOT FEAR, for I am with you. Do not look around, for I am your Elohim. I shall fortify you, I shall also help you, I shall also uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. See, all those who raged against you are ashamed and blush, they are as nonexistent. And the men who strive with you perish. You seek them but do not find them, those who struggle with you. (Commentary from HN News editor) Yahweh warns us that there is a day coming when He will gather the nations to judge them. Why? Because...."They have divided up My land".  (Joel 3: 1-3) Often, Abba works in a way of  "measure for measure". What might happen as a result of this MOMENTOUS decision at the UN?  We divide the land of Israel....our own land gets divided....LITERALLY.  We might see the dividing of the land of America through a GYNORMOUS earthquake...perhaps along the New Madrid fault line or along the West Coast where there has been heightened quake activity just in the last week.  Let's pray!  Abba, in your judgment, would you remember mercy? Would you remember your remnant people and protect them in the days ahead. We know your word is true. You have said that you will judge the nations for dividing your land and you will do it. After eight days of intensive fighting, during which Palestinian terrorists fired 1,500 rockets at Israel, and Israel made 1,500 airstrikes in Gaza, a fragile and tenuous ceasefire went into effect on Wednesday night, 11/21/12. The  "ceasefire" was announced by Hillary Clinton. The Egyptian-brokered truce officially started at 9:00pm Israeli time, and while at least 20 rockets fell after the deadline, the attacks slowed as the night progressed. Many IDF soldiers and civilians, especially from southern Israel, were not happy with the "We cease...You fire" truce. Many feel that Israel needs to take the gloves off and finish the job they started.  Is this merely a temporary "pause" in the ongoing conflict? Will Hamas simply use this time to regroup, resupply their war resources, recruit new leaders, and re-ignite the flames of hatred against Israel?  Will Iran become DIRECTLY involved in round two of this ongoing conflict?  Time will tell!     Please don't miss two special reports:   A Story in Pictures: Our AMAZING Israeli Troops!
