Please let us think about the Light of the world.....

Mat_4:16 the people who sat in darkness saw a great light, and upon those who sat in the land and shadow of death, light arose to them.”¹ Footnote: ¹Isa. 9:1-2.

Mat_5:14 “You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a mountain.

Mat_5:15 “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house.

Mat_5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works and praise your Father who is in the heavens.

Mat_6:23 “But if your eye is evil,¹ all your body shall be darkened. If, then, the light that is within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! Footnote: ¹This is a Heḇrew idiom – a good eye means to be generous, while an evil eye means to be stingy.

Mat_10:27 “What I say to you in the dark, speak in the light. And what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the house-tops.

Luk_8:16 “And no one having lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but he puts it on a lampstand, so that those coming in see the light.

Luk_8:17 “For whatever is hidden shall be revealed, and whatever is secret shall be known and come to light.

Luk_11:33 “And no one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a hidden place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in shall see the light.

Luk_11:36 “If then all your body is enlightened, having no part dark, all shall be enlightened, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”

Joh_8:12 Therefore יהושע spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but possess the light of life.”¹ Footnote: ¹ See 11:9-10.

Joh_9:5 “While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Joh_11:9 יהושע answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.

Joh_11:10 “But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

Joh_12:35 יהושע, therefore, said to them, “Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. And he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

Joh_12:36 “While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you become sons of light.” These words יהושע spoke, and went off and was hidden from them.

Joh_12:46 “I have come as a light into the world, so that no one who believes in Me should stay in darkness.

Act_9:3 And it came to be, that as he journeyed, he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light flashed around him from the heaven.

Act_12:7 And see, a messenger of יהוה stood by, and a light shone in the building. And smiting the side of Kĕpha he raised him up, saying, “Get up quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.

Act_13:47 “For so the Master has commanded us, ‘I have set you to be a light to the gentiles, that you should be for deliverance to the ends of the earth.’ ”

Act_16:29 And asking for a light, he ran in, and fell down trembling before Sha’ul and Sila.

Act_22:6 “And it came to be, as I was journeying and coming near Damascus, about noon, suddenly a great light shone around me out of the heaven,

Act_22:9 “And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear His voice speaking to me.

Act_22:11 “And as I could not see because of the esteem of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus.

Act_26:13 at midday along the highway, O sovereign, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me.

Act_26:18 to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light,¹ and the authority of Satan to Elohim, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are set-apart by belief in Me.’ Footnote: ¹Isa. 42:6-7, Isa. 60:2-3, Rev. 21:24.

Act_26:23 that the Messiah would suffer, would be the first to rise from the dead, He would proclaim light to the people and to the gentiles.”

Rom_2:19 and are trusting that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

Rom_13:12 The night is far advanced, the day has come near. So let us put off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

1Co_4:5 So do not judge any at all before the time, until the Master comes, who shall bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the thoughts of the hearts. And then each one’s praise shall come from Elohim.

2Co_4:6 For Elohim, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts for the enlightening of the knowledge of the esteem of Elohim in the face of יהושע Messiah.

2Co_6:14 Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? And what fellowship has light with darkness?

2Co_11:14 And no wonder! For Satan himself masquerades as a messenger of light!

Eph_5:8 For you were once darkness,¹ but now you are light in the Master. Walk as children of light – Footnote: ¹See 2:2, 4:18, Col. 3:7.

Eph_5:13 But all matters being reproved¹ are manifested by the light, for whatever is manifested is light. Footnote: ¹Or confuted, or exposed.

Col_1:12 giving thanks to the Father who has made us fit to share in the inheritance of the set-apart ones in the light,

1Th_5:5 For you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

1Ti_6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or is able to see, to whom be respect and everlasting might. Amĕn.

2Ti_1:10 but now revealed by the appearing of our Saviour יהושע Messiah, who indeed abolished death and brought life and incorruptibility to light through the Good News,

1Pe_2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light,

2Pe_1:19 And we have the prophetic word made more certain, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

1Jn_1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that Elohim is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

1Jn_1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.

1Jn_2:8 Again I write you a fresh command, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light now shines.

1Jn_2:9 The one who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in the darkness until now.

1Jn_2:10 The one who loves his brother stays in the light, and there is no stumbling-block in him.

Rev_18:23 “And the light of a lamp shall not shine in you any more at all. And the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you any more at all. For your merchants were the great ones of the earth, for by your drug sorcery all the nations were led astray.

Rev_21:11 having the esteem of Elohim, and her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal,

Rev_21:24 And the gentiles, of those who are saved, shall walk in its light,¹ and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it. Footnote: ¹See Isa. 60:3.

Rev_22:5 And night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because יהוה Elohim shall give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Do you know?

1Co_3:16 Do you not know that you are a Dwelling Place of Elohim and that the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you?

1Co_3:17 If anyone destroys the Dwelling Place of Elohim, Elohim shall destroy him. For the Dwelling Place of Elohim is set-apart, which you are.

1Co_6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the Dwelling Place of the Set-apart Spirit who is in you, which you have from Elohim, and you are not your own?

2Co_6:16 And what union has the Dwelling Place of Elohim with idols? For you are a Dwelling Place of the living Elohim, as Elohim has said, “I shall dwell in them and walk among them, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.”

Eph_2:21 in whom all the building, being joined together, grows into a set-apart Dwelling Place in יהוה,

2Th_2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshipped, so that he sits as Elohim in the Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim.

We ask you let we re-dedicate the Dwelling Place of Elohim by crying out for Yeshuah (Salvation) from Yahweh?

That the Light of the world may clean the darkness out of the Dwelling Place of Elohim:

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with Elohim.

Joh 1:3 All came to be through Him,¹ and without Him not even one came to be that came to be. Footnote: ¹Eph. 3:9, Col. 1:16, Heb. 1:2, Heb. 11:3, 2 Peter 3:5, Ps. 33:6.

Joh 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Joh 1:5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

By the re-dedication comes in fulfillment:

Jer 31:31 “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall make a new covenant with the house of Yisra’ĕl and with the house of Yehuḏah¹, Footnote: ¹See Heb. 8:8-12, Heb. 10:16-17.

Jer 31:32 not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares יהוה.

Jer 31:33 “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

Jer 31:34 “And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbour, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares יהוה. “For I shall forgive their crookedness, and remember their sin no more.”

But also:

Zec_10:7 “And Ephrayim shall be as a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as if with wine. And their children shall see and rejoice, their heart exulting in יהוה.

Rabby Shaul said it clearly:

Rom_9:25 As He says in Hoshĕa too, “I shall call them My people, who were not My people, and her beloved, who was not beloved.”

Rom_9:26 “And it shall be in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ there they shall be called sons of the living Elohim.”

From:

Hos 1:8 And she weaned Lo-Ruḥamah, and conceived and bore a son,

Hos 1:9 then He said, “Call his name Lo-Ammi, for you are not My people, and I am not for you.

Hos 1:10 “Yet the number of the children of Yisra’ĕl shall be as the sand of the sea, which is not measured nor counted. And it shall be in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ they shall be called, ‘You are the sons of the living Ěl.’ Please read the whole book of Hoshea.

When, you ask for the Yeshuah (Salvation) from Yahweh than you become a Mighty Man Ephraim. And you can make a covenant with Yehudah (the Jews).

It shall be fulfilled:

Hos 1:11 “And the children of Yehuḏah (the Jews) and the children of Yisra’ĕl (Ephraim) shall be gathered together, and appoint for themselves one head (the Yeshuah (Salvation) of Yahweh, and shall come up out of the earth, for great is the day of Yizreʽĕl!

Hos 2:23 “And I shall sow her for Myself in the earth, and I shall have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion. And I shall say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people,’ while they say, ‘My Elohim!’ ”

Hos 3:5 Afterward the children of Yisra’ĕl (Ephraim) shall return, and seek יהוה their Elohim, and Dawiḏ their sovereign (the Yeshuah (Salvation) from Yahweh), and fear יהוה and His goodness, in the latter days.

Isa 11:12 And He shall raise a banner for the nations, and gather the outcasts of Yisra’ĕl, and assemble the dispersed of Yehuḏah from the four corners of the earth.

Isa 11:13 And the envy of Ephrayim shall turn aside, and the adversaries of Yehuḏah (Jews) be cut off. Ephrayim shall not envy Yehuḏah (Jews), and Yehuḏah (Jews) not trouble Ephrayim.

Jer 3:18 “In those days the house of Yehuḏah (Jews) shall go to the house of Yisra’ĕl (Ephraim), and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to your fathers.

Jer 3:19 “But I said, ‘How would I put you among the children and give you a pleasant land, a splendid inheritance of the hosts of nations?’ “And I said, ‘Call Me, “My Father,” and do not turn away from Me.’

Jer 23:5 “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall raise for Dawiḏ a Branch¹ (the Yeshuah (Salvation) from Yahweh) of righteousness, and a Sovereign shall reign and act wisely, and shall do right-ruling and righteousness in the earth. Footnote: ¹Or sprout.

Jer 23:6 “In His days Yehuḏah (Jews) shall be saved, and Yisra’ĕl (Ephraim) dwell safely. And this is His Name whereby He shall be called: ‘יהוה our Righteousness.’

Jer 23:7 “Therefore, see, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when they shall say no more, ‘As יהוה lives who brought up the children of Yisra’ĕl out of the land of Mitsrayim,’

Jer 23:8 but, ‘As יהוה lives who brought up and led the seed of the house of Yisra’ĕl (Ephraim) out of the land of the north and from all the lands where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell on their own soil.”

Jer 30:3 ‘For look, the days are coming,’ declares יהוה, ‘when I shall turn back the captivity of My people Yisra’ĕl (Ephraim) and Yehuḏah (Jews),’ declares יהוה, ‘and I shall bring them back to the land that I gave to their fathers, and let them possess it.’ ”

Jer 30:4 And these are the words יהוה spoke concerning Yisra’ĕl (Ephraim) and Yehuḏah (Jews).

We live really in special times Ephraim and Yehudah, the Chaldean has to be dealt with.

Abba Yahweh promised that, that He shall deal with them:

Isa 11:11 And it shall be in that day that יהוה sets His hand again a second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, from Ashshur and from Mitsrayim, from Pathros and from Kush, from Ěylam and from Shinʽar, from Ḥamath and from the islands of the sea.

Isa 11:12 And He shall raise a banner (the Yeshuah (Salvation) from Yahweh) for the nations, and gather the outcasts of Yisra’ĕl (Ephraim), and assemble the dispersed of Yehuḏah (Jews) from the four corners of the earth.

Isa 11:13 And the envy of Ephrayim shall turn aside, and the adversaries of Yehuḏah (Jews) be cut off. Ephrayim shall not envy Yehuḏah (Jews), and Yehuḏah (Jews) not trouble Ephrayim.

Isa 11:14 But they (Ephraim and the Jews) shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; together they plunder the people of the east, their hand stretching forth on Eḏom and Mo’aḇ (today, Jordan), and the children of Ammon shall be subject to them.

Isa 11:15 And יהוה shall put under the ban the tongue of the Sea of Mitsrayim, and He shall wave His hand over the River with the might of His Spirit, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and shall cause men to tread it in sandals.

Isa 11:16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of His people, those left from Ashshur…..

that is where you went, disappeared Ephraim. But from there you spread out over the whole world. Unrecognizable for many people even for yourselves! But not for Abba Yahweh, He didn’t forget you. Read it for yourselves:

2Ki 18:9 And it came to be in the fourth year of Sovereign Ḥizqiyahu, which was the seventh year of Hoshĕa son of Ělah, sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, that Shalmaneser sovereign of Ashshur came up against Shomeron and besieged it,
2Ki 18:10 and they captured it at the end of three years. In the sixth year of Ḥizqiyah, that is the ninth year of Hoshĕa sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, Shomeron was captured.
2Ki 18:11 And the sovereign of Ashshur exiled Yisra’ĕl to Ashshur, and placed them in Ḥalaḥ and Ḥaḇor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes,
2Ki 18:12 because they did not obey the voice of יהוה their Elohim, but transgressed His covenant – all that Mosheh the servant of יהוה had commanded. And they did not obey nor do them.

…….as it was for Yisra’ĕl in the day when he came up from the land of Mitsrayim.

So we ask you when you light the first candle think about the above……

Before kindling the Chanukah lights on the first night of Chanukah, Saturday night, December 8 2012, (or if you're kindling the Chanukah lights for the first time this year) recite all three blessings. On every subsequent night only the first two are recited.

Recited only on the first night (or the first time lighting this Chanukah):

1. Ba-ruch A-tah Ado-nai E-lo-he-nu Me-lech ha-olam a-sher ki-de-sha-nu be-mitz-vo-tav ve-tzi-va-nu le-had-lik ner Cha-nu-kah.
2. Ba-ruch A-tah Ado-nai E-lo-he-nu Me-lech Ha-olam she-a-sa ni-sim la-avo-te-nu ba-ya-mim ha-hem bi-zman ha-zeh.
3. Ba-ruch A-tah Ado-nai E-lo-he-nu Me-lech Ha-olam she-heche-ya-nu ve-ki-yi-ma-nu ve-higi-a-nu liz-man ha-zeh.
Translation:
1. Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us to kindle the Chanukah light.
2. Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, who performed miracles for our forefathers in those days, at this time.
3. Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, who has granted us life, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this occasion.

After the Chanukah lights are kindled, it is customary to recite or sing the Haneirot Halalu hymn.

Ha-nei-rot ha-lo-lu o-nu mad-li-kin
Al ha-te-shu-ot ve-al ha-ni-sim ve-al ha-nif-la-ot,
She-a-see-ta la-avo-tei-nu ba-ya-mim ha-heim biz-man ha-zeh,
Al ye-dei ko-ha-ne-cha ha-ke-do-shim,
Ve-chol she-mo-nat ye-mei cha-nu-kah ha-nei-rot ha-la-lu ko-desh hem,
Ve-ein la-nu re-shut le-hish-ta-meish ba-hen,
E-lo lir-o-tan bil-vad, ke-dei le-ho-dot u-le-ha-leil le-shim-cha ha-ga-dol
Al ni-se-cha ve-al nif-le-o-te-cha ve-al ye-shu-o-te-cha.
Translation:
We kindle these lights [to commemorate] the saving acts, miracles and wonders which You have performed for our forefathers, in those days at this time, through Your holy priests. Throughout the eight days of Chanukah, these lights are sacred, and we are not permitted to make use of them, but only to look at them, in order to offer thanks and praise to Your great Name for Your miracles, for Your wonders and for Your salvations.
