Prophecy Watch: 13th Feb 2012: Clarifying The Prophetic Shadow of the 3rd and 7th Day Cleansing Law in Relation to the Last Days Redemption of Zion
Dear The Watchmen from Israel,
A few have expressed concern and worry over the subject of my last bulletin thinking whether I am implying that they may have already been excluded from Israel because of their inability to 1) keep the Feast of Unleavened bread simply because they haven't done so yet through ignorance or 2) they have wheat allergies and so cannot have bread , or alternatively in relation to the other law discussed that 3) in the past they have come in contact with the dead but have not undergone a cleansing ceremony, and are thus concerned that they may have been excluded from the commonwealth of Israel.
Thus I need to make clear that if one has such understandings from reading my past bulletin, then it has been completely misunderstood. The fault could well be mine in that I may not have written the article clearly enough and there is ambiguity, so I must clarify what I have written, since as a watchman report it was not written without much struggling.
I have learned that we all typically tend to focus on the bad news at the expense of any good news that may be presented and we need to be careful to doubly emphasise the good news when any attention to bad news is presented. I possibly did not do this as well as I should have. I mentioned the two laws early in the article and then went on to expand the prophetic implications to the coming prophesied redemption of Zion. Some may have only concentrated on the first part and became alarmed enough to possibly not be able to read clearly through the remainder of the article (and I acknowledge it was also a long one) to grasp the full conclusions of the watchman exhortation.
So I need to re-clarify everything this week. Let me begin…
These two substantive laws (Exodus 12:15; Numbers 19:13) hold the injunction for disobedience to be “cut off from Israel” and so they require our proper attention and understanding especially in their prophetic significance. They are written in the plain text and we must take careful to ensure we have significant lessons here that are on solid biblical ground. Please remember also that this is to be understood in the context that our Abba is a loving heavenly Father, who will be joyfully welcoming us home at the end of the exile!
The Call To Keep Seven Days Of Unleavened Bread In The Last Days
In regard to the feast of unleavened bread, we understand in the fullness of all the scripture and in the light of Yahushua Messiah, that the essential meaning of this call to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread primarily speaks to us of not having leaven in our lives, with leaven being representative of sin which is the transgression of the law. So overall Abba is requiring us to keep our lives free of leaven with His strength, under His grace and with the help of His Spirit. But we are not fallible in this current world and He provides for us the way of repentance when we fall and He does forgive our sins when we do repent. Throughout His Word, Abba has taught us that He can only draw near to a bride that Has “made herself ready” by cleansing her garments in the last days redemption, and this is why we have been called by Abba to return in repentance by remembering the law of Moshe in the last days (Malachi 4).
However, in regard to the appointed times He clearly expects us to keep a specific time in the biblical year when we are to focus ourselves in a physically objective way to remove all "leaven" from our houses and to eat only that which is unleavened - that bread is the word used is not specifically defined for us today as referring to the modern bread that we eat. He has also declared that He will meet with us in His appointed times.
The issue of “unleavened bread” in my understanding is that we do not eat any food with leaven in it during that period. Traditionally as bread was the staple diet, clearly the word “bread” referred to some grain based staple meal.
That being the case, I understand that should one be completely allergic to wheat or certain grains, as an increasing many are today because of the poisoning of food, I do not understand YHVH's intention is to prescriptively force us to specifically eat those grains, such as wheat, which we may not be able to consume because of personal toxic reactions affecting our wellbeing. This would not be in accord with Abba’s nature as our loving Father and so we must be careful to ensure we have our interpretation here correct as opposed to a “religious” observation or practice.
However in my understanding, Abba’s injunction is that that which we eat at that specific appointed time must be without leaven. He does not prescribe in the scripture that the “bread” must be made of wheat grain or any other specific grain. I understand that “bread” here is in the generic sense of the term. So if I were in the position of being allergic to wheat which made me unwell, I would do something different for my ‘unleavened bread’ by using what I am not allergic to such as possibly rice flour, or something that is agreeable to my body and does not have a toxic influence.
We are also have the injunction to care for the body that has been given to us, since Abba is the Elohiym of the living and intends for us to have health, wellness and abundant LIFE. At the same time, there needs to be a way for us to participate in and keep the time of “unleavened” bread with our families at the biblically appointed times. From the lack of specificity as to the definition of what constitutes bread, I understand Abba thus gives us a wide latitude as to how we make our “bread” and what we are using for our “bread” which might vary from culture to culture and from individual to individual. The prescription appears to be simple – whatever it is it must be “unleavened” or without yeast contamination.
So what appears to be perceptually important here in regard to how we are to walk today, and what should we consider as the prophetic injunction of the feast today?
From my understanding, the issue is that (1) we do what we can to "keep the feast" both in its condition of no leaven and in its specifically appointed time, while knowing (2) that this is a commanded object lesson to the whole family concerning (3) that Abba is requiring our lives at large to be without leaven in His presence, as was the life of Yahushua. That (4) while this is the highest spiritual and ethical calling to us in the last days as the example of a life-walk to be set-apart from the ways of the world, that (5) there is also a specific appointed time when this is especially the focus of a specific form of worship which He has commanded Israel to keep and which is also (6) a significant part of the grand prophetic narrative of the redemption of Israel and return to Zion. There is indeed, (7) a prophetic significance in the last days that it marks those who are setting themselves aside to be obedient before YHVH in the last days and (8) there will also soon be coming that specific festival of Unleavened Bread on which last great exodus from (global) Egypt will begin.
It is in the context of the full biblical narrative of the redemption of Zion, the all the feasts such as Unleavened Bread are to understood, and only then can we begin to understand why, if one disobeys this biblical call to specifically keep the 7 days of Unleavened Bread, He then warns of the severe judgement that in the end disobedience to this call will require one “to be cut off from Israel”.
The 3rd and 7th Day Cleansing From Death
This law (Numbers 19) is also one that carries the grave sentence of being “cut off from Israel”. Again some have read this in its narrowest sense of past personal contact with a dead person, when what I was trying to express in my article is its prophetic injunction to the coming lawful process of the redemption and restoration of Zion in the last days.
I understand that this law of cleansing from contamination with the dead provides part of the prophetic narrative of the end-time lawful redemption of the Nation of Israel, as YHVH delivers, redeems and brings His nation out of the exile of the nations and as such calls us to carefully understand the biblical meaning of being in the “exile”. In the prophets, being in the exile refers to the state of banishment of Abba’s covenanted people from His physical presence in the Garden of Eden, such as during the time of Adam and Eve. Being is exile is akin to being pushed outside of the “promised land” – ultimately to be understood in the millennial reign as the restored “Garden of Eden” and being in a state of spiritual death which is physical separation from Abba.
Clearly regeneration and spiritual life begins at the individual level when one places one’s faith in the atonement work of Yahushua Messiah, but we also read in the prophets that Abba has declared that in the last days there will be a NATIONAL REDEMPTION OF ALL ISRAEL FROM THEIR “GRAVES” – meaning from the exile scattered amongst all the nations, the remnant of Jacob will return. Clearly Yahushua raised individuals from the dead, just as we ourselves have been raised to spiritual life by our faith in Yahushua, but the majority of believers today do not know because of their ignorance of the biblical prophets, that the greater mandate of Yahushua Messiah (Isaiah 49:6) is to raise and restore the remnant nation of JACOB from their graves in the last days.
Eze 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith YHVH Elohiym; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.Eze 37:13 And ye shall know that I am YHVH, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
The word “graves” is associated with the words of “exile”, “captivity”, and “sheol” (hell) in the biblical prophets. For example the prophet Isaiah declares YHVH’s Word as follows:
Isaiah 5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
Abba has declared that in the last days redemption, He will bring Israel out of “your graves” and into the millennial Messianic reign. Effectively, although we have individually been saved by faith in Yahushua, the focus of Messianic redemption in the prophets concerns a NATIONAL redemption whilst not denying our individual salvation and that YHVH will raise up a set-apart NATION that will live in Zion as the center of all other nations, a nation which has been “dead” and “lost” because of the historical scattering punishments of the exiles. The exile has served to contaminate His people with the spiritual death state of the surrounding nations (his people have been forced to touch the dead, forced to serve other gods in the exile), and the law of Numbers 19 is thus also pointing us to the fact that there is a lawful process which redemption plan of YHVH will follow and which yet calls for the cleansing of the remnant of the nation of Zion at the time appointed when it is Divinely “raised up” out from the graves of the exile.
This redemptive process must follow YHVH’s Divine Law and will require Yahushua, who is the clean person who will come and sprinkle the righteous faithful and obedient remnant, which will constitute the emerging Nation of Zion, with clean water (the waters of purification) so that the Nation will successfully return to Zion.
From numbers 19 we read that the contaminated person must present themselves for the 3rd day cleansing outside the camp (i.e. the remnant will be sprinkled in the first instance of the 3rd day cleansing while they are yet still in the exile and not yet in the promise land) and once so sprinkled they will wait in a place thereafter until the fourth day (which is the 7th day cleansing) for the clean person (who is Yahushua Messiah) to come again and sprinkle them yet again with the waters of purification on the 7th day as Divinely required, before the person can enter the camp (which symbolizes the Garden of Eden where the presence of YHVH will be).
Numbers 19 teaches us that the contaminated person who is obedient to present themselves and with for the 3rd day cleansing must remain obediently outside the camp, and keeping themselves from any further contamination with the dead (the nations and its systems) outside the camp until the 7th day when they again will be sprinkled with clean water by the clean person, and only after this has taken place is the person consider clean before YHVH and permitted to enter into the camp in a fully redeemed position. I understand this confinement in the “semi-cleaned” state, between the 3rd and 7th Day gives us some hint of a prophetic shadow of the significant role of going into “Goshen” (Genesis 45), for the period of time of 1260 days as mentioned in Revelation 12:6, prior to the greater Exodus.
Significantly the law proclaims the condition that any person who does not present themselves for the cleansing of the 3rd day is not permitted to participate in the cleansing of the 7th day, and the conclusion therefore can only be that defaulters will not be able to enter the camp on the 7th day regardless of appeal – effectively they are “cut off from Israel”. This narrative points us directly to understanding the teaching of Yahushua Messiah concerning the “wise and foolish virgins” where He reveals that to the wise a door is opened at a set time, but that that door is closed to the foolish and they cannot get in but remain in the outer darkness – which is in the exile of the nations. In my understanding of this parable, Yahushua is prophetically referring to the lawful process of the cleansing of contamination (of the wise) from the exile (the condition of the dead) that will take place in the future redemption of Israel from the exile and into the Kingdom of YHVH, just as described in Numbers 19.
In last weeks ‘Prophecy Watch” bulletin, I wrote of my strong expectation that this process of the 3rd day cleansing may well be soon beginning to unfold for the righteous remnant this coming Passover through Shavuot season. I am no prophet, but from my study of both the prophetic scriptures and the signs that are expected to present in the heavens over these appointed times, I am persuaded that we are beginning the 3rd biblical year in the last sabbatical set of years, which will begin the processes by which the Two Houses of Jacob will be reunited, restored and returned to Zion by the “Holy One Of Israel” by the 7th year (expected around 2016-2017).
Thus it is in this context that to not be ready to obediently present one’s self to be cleansed from the exile punishment through a coming 3rd day cleansing by Yahushua, which fits the prophetic liturgy of the appointed times of Unleavened Bread through Shavuot, either through ignorance or rebellion would be a great tragedy that may occur through not making sure of one’s redemption with “fear and trembling”. That these days maybe now upon us is what I am alerting that all should examine and consider.
Please note, I have always stated that I am but a averag "Joe" watchman, and as always I encourage you to test all things with prayer and study. But to re-iterate, I am very concerned therefore as a watchman to point out at this time of the coming biblical festivals of Passover through Shavuot, that any person who claims faith in Yahushua and has been grafted into the redeemed commonwealth of Israel (according to Ephesians 2) and who will not be keeping the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Counting of the Omer and the Feast of Shavuot this coming biblical year, in spiritual sincerity and truth, might be by their own volition or ignorance, jeopardizing their own citizenship status in Redeemed Millennial Israel, the Olive Tree nation (Romans 11) of YHVH. When the watchmen of Israel do not sound the trumpet, then Abba has declared that the blood of those who may be lost as a result will be held accountable to the watchmen. But if the watchmen His people sound the warning trumpet, then the watchmen are not held accountable for any casualties that would result due to refusal to take heed (Ezekiel 33:6).
If one has felt confused by last week’s bulletin, then I apologize sincerely but ask you to please then re-read what I have written in my original article to ascertain for your self that this is what I was pointing to.
Below I specifically include the last part from my bulletin concerning what I wrote about the coming prophetic shadow of the law of the 3rd and 7th day cleansing from the exile, and that this cleansing may now be immediately ahead of us as the beginning of the lawful process that YHVH has put in place for the redemption of Israel from the exile among the nations. How this will all unfold, I cannot say but I know that perceptually as an ordinance of YHVH it will be lawfully accomplished since Yahushua must work his redemption according to Abba’s Law.
Consequently it should become immediately apparent from this discussion that that with the requirement of a 3rd and 7th day cleansing process, no person, religious institution or denomination can take such matters of the end time exodus and redemption of biblical Israel from the exile of the nations into their own hands or their own theological constructions or expressions, of which an example today is in the actions of those who assume that by negotiating through a “love” relationship with Rabbinical Judah and attempting a self-sponsored physical return to the land of the modern State of Israel, under the conditions so specified by the Rabbinic’s, is how the great second exodus is going to be initiated. All this reveals is a humanism that is actually naïve concerning YHVH’s great Law.
From my study of the law and the prophets, I cannot see any references to Abba permitting Ephraim to take such matters into his own hands! Our spokesman in this most significant episode of the future history of Zion, is biblically declared to be the sole mandate of the clean person who is the “Holy One Of Israel” who is Yahushua Messiah, YHVH’s Redeemer of Israel! Only He can sprinkle us with clean water in the coming days to enable our return from exile. As Moses redeemed Israel in the first exodus, so it shadows Yahushua who is our Redeemer in the greater exodus that is about to unfold in the sight of all the nations, so that YHVH’s Name will be known through the world. How we will rejoice!
I trust this clarifies the emphasis of my previous bulletin in these matters and that my hope is to encourage you to think and carefully study what the scriptures are tell us concerning this great prophetic narrative of the Messianic Redemption. My focus is definitely not to scare anyone into a religious interpretation or practices of the law of Moses and a legalism by implying that we must personally keep this law of cleansing today or that we may have defaulted in the past by touching a dead person for which we have not undertaken a required cleansing ceremony.
Rather I am pointing to the reality that not many appear to be considering, which is that there is a lawful process that also governs our coming great return from exile, and that this law cleansing of Numbers 19 gives us deep insights into the why and how the Nation of Israel will yet be brought to “pass under the rod” by the clean person who is Yahushua Messiah, in the wilderness of the people (Ezekiel 20:34-38).
If we do not present ourselves, through the keeping of His appointed times and the repentance from transgression, making ourselves ready to be sprinkled by Yahushua with the clean waters of separation, we will not be able to participate in that glorious Messianic work which concerns a necessary process of Divine separation from the nations to be able to be presented as a clean bride on the 7th day. If we are not obedient, through ignorance and/or deliberate replacement theologies we may well find ourselves not being permitted to come into the 7th day cleansing, just as detailed by the law. The 7th day cleansing is plainly pointed to by the prophets (Ezekiel 36: 25) which declared as fundamental to the beginning of the Messianic Age and the restored Garden of Eden.
Ezekiel 36: 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am YHVH, saith Elohiym, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.25 ¶ Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

Extract from Prophecy Watch: 6th Feb 2012: Safeguarding One’s Biblical Citizenship in Redeemed Israel In The Last Days
And What Of The Divine Law of 3rd Day Cleansing From Death (Num 19)?
If it is indeed what the heavenly signs are portraying, that that through this coming biblical year, the “eyes” of Yahushua are upon His congregations wherever they have been scattered across the four corners of the earth (as we read in Revelation 2-3), whether they be gathered together just in 2’s – 3’s or larger numbers, then the prophetic oracles of Ezekiel 20:35-36 may well be immediately before us;
Ezekiel 20:35-36 37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: 38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am YHVH.
Those who are brought into the bond of the covenant clearly have to be Divinely cleansed from contamination from the exile in the nations (dead humanity). This would constitute the 3rd day cleansing “outside the camp” (i.e in the wilderness and not in the promised land). Only Yahushua Messiah (who is the clean person) can do this cleansing. Only He chooses those whom he will bring into the bond of the covenant, prescribed not but His own preference but by YHVH’s Divine law. Those who are so cleansed and brought under the bond of the covenant will surely be the ones pronounced the “Sons of the Living Elohiym” (Hosea 1:10). It is this message that appears to be being proclaimed in the Heavenly Signs in relation to the appointed biblical worship calendar this year. It is the requirement of the Law (Numbers 19) that we make ourselves ready and wait to present ourselves for this cleansing from contamination from the exile (death). If this is to be done by the clean person (Yahushua Messiah) this year, we should be ensuring that we are not missing any of His biblical festivals. Who knows if He will not come to our place in the wilderness during the feast of Shavuot?
Because of the heavenly wonder signs, I am convicted that in 2012, the whole period beginning with Passover through the 7 day Feast of Unleavened Bread onwards through Shavuot this year, is a time when we may well be experiencing what Yahushua prophesied as a parable of the call to the great supper (Luke 14:16-24) where many were summoned but did not come for all sort of reasons and so he ended up closing the door to those who so refused to heed His invitation commandment.
On the positive side, we may well see YHVH’ begin His Divine preliminary 3rd day cleansing of His scattered people from the exile by His Set-Apart Spirit, as foretold by the prophet Joel. Joel’s prophecy tells us much about those who will be called the “sons and daughters” of Elohiym. These blessings also reflect themes which point to the prophetic parable of “Goshen”, where Joseph reunited with His family outside of the promised land in a time of famine, provides sustenance for His family.
Joel 2: 23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in YHVH your Elohim: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. 25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of YHVH your Elohim, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. 27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am YHVH your Elohim, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. 28 ¶ And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of YHVH come.
Indeed, I am very hopeful and expecting that in the coming appointed biblical worship times this year we may be experiencing a spiritual fulfillment that we have never known before, as Yahushua our Redeemer and Shepherd, the Holy One of Israel, rises to redeem biblical Israel.
