Sondra Oster Baras Sondra Oster Baras is the director of CFOIC Heartland's Israel Office.  An attorney by training, Sondra left the legal profession many years ago to devote herself to advocating for the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.  She was a founder of CFOIC Heartland and established the Israel office in 1998, which serves as the international headquarters of the ministry.  Sondra is an Orthodox Jew, born and raised in the US, and has been living in Israel since 1984.  She is an accomplished lecturer on the history and politics of Israel as well as an experienced Bible teacher and she travels all over the world, speaking to audiences about Israel.  Sondra lives in Karnei Shomron, in Samaria, with her husband Edward, a computer programmer, and her five children. This is a dangerous situation for the US and poses an immediate threat to Israel. The Palestinian Authority has launched a campaign to achieve unilateral recognition of the State of Palestine, effectively declaring all Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, the so-called settlements, illegal. Even as Israel's control of this vital area is more critical than ever before, the administration continues to call for Israel to withdraw from the heart of Biblical Israel. Sondra Oster Baras, a resident of Samaria, a former attorney and a student of the Bible, will update audiences on these and other very real challenges facing Israel today.
