A report came late last night that the Gavins Point Dam on the Missouri River has cracks on the face of it and a large surge of water is imminent. Please keep the people in this region of the US in your prayers!

Gavins Point Dam in South Dakota: Floodwaters Imminent
This YouTube reporter reported on 6/25/11 that the face of the Gavins Point dam in South Dakota is cracking. it appears that officials are going to blow part of it to relieve the pressure as charges have been set this past week. Right now, the dam is taking on more water than it can safely release.

A combination of record-high heat and record-low rainfall has pushed south and central Texas into the region's deepest drought in a half century, with $3.6 billion of crop and livestock losses piling up during the past nine months.The heat wave has drastically reduced reservoirs and forced about 230 public water systems to declare mandatory water restrictions.Researchers at the AgriLife Extension Service at Texas A&M University say damages are expected to exceed the $4.1 billion in crop and livestock losses the state experienced during a 2006 drought.
PRAY! Please pray that as we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways and seek Yahweh's face, that then He would heal our land. Pray for rain to come to Texas. The flooding in the Missouri and Mississippi river basins and the drought in Texas are grave threats to the crops and livestock in America's heartland. Pray for the many people whose homes, offices, and livelihoods have been affected by flooding and drought.

A bipartisan group of House lawmakers sued the Obama administration on Wednesday over its use of U.S. military forces in Libya.
Led by Reps. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) and Walter Jones (R-N.C.), the members contend the White House overstepped its constitutional authority when it launched military operations against Libyan strongman Col. Moammar Gadhafi in March without congressional approval. "This is not an academic question," Kucinich said Wednesday at a press conference in front of the federal courthouse in Washington, D.C., where the suit was filed. "This is about stopping a war now."

One of these "special economic zones" would be just south of Boise, Idaho and the Idaho government is eager to give it to them. (PhysOrg.com) -- A newly discovered house-sized asteroid will miss the Earth by less than 17,700 km (11,000 miles) on Monday June 27, 2011. That's about 23 times closer than the Moon. The size and location of the asteroid, named 2011 MD, should allow observers in certain locations to take a look at the space rock, even with small telescopes. It's closest approach will be at 13:26 UTC on June 27. What does it mean? Asteroids coming near the earth can create a gravitational pull on our planet. It has been postulated that asteroids coming into alignment with our planet may be the cause of earthquakes and tsunamis.
