In observance of Passover and the feast of Unleavened bread, there is no regular Torah portion this weekend. I hope you are having a wonderful Passover/Unleavened bread.
As most of you know, I love to teach about the death, burial and resurrection of Messiah Yeshua from the Tanakh. For it is in the Tanakh that we find the foundations of the third day resurrection and numerous other teachings about resurrection.
Messianic figures are known by their "death" and "resurrections." Well, this Passover was unique for the Robinson's. My daughter Erica was in the hospital on Passover night and so was my brother. Erica has to battle pain crisis' associated with sickle cell disease. Last year, she was in the hospital right before Passover. We had planned a seder and wondered if we'd make it home. Adonai was merciful and a day before Passover she recuperated and was released. Not so, this year. Last night we had Passover in the hospital. Adonai was gracious to us. We had planned to have a very small group of people to our house, but had to cancel at the last minute with the other families needing to conduct their own seders.
Now we know why Erica was given a large room even though there was only one bed in it. It was just enough room for our family of six and one other couple to have Passover! We asked the hospital if we could have a table to prepare and they gave my wife the key to a room full of chairs and tables and told her to take whatever she needed! We could not cook a Passover meal, so Tina went and bought some food already prepared. As she talked with the lady at the store, she explained how she was in the hospital with our daughter and didn't have time to prepare a full Passover meal. The lady was Jewish, and explained how she had to do the same thing not long ago when her father was sick! Yes, Adonai took care of us even though this was an unusual Passover, the first we've ever done under these circumstances.
Back to my brother in Chicago, he has diabetes and his kidneys failed a few months ago. He's been on kidney dialysis three times a week since. Well, yesterday, he had to have surgery to remove his kidneys. The operation was successful and 9 hours later he was recuperating in intensive care. I got a call from my mother last night around 1or 2 in the morning and she was all in tears and all shaken. Through her tears and broken speech she informed me that my brother had stopped breathing and that his heart stopped. Apparently, he had internal bleeding and before they could find this out, he died there in the hospital. But . . . they were able to resuscitate him by CPR. He went back into surgery and they found the source of blood and he is recovering! As I prayed for him I wondered, this is Passover evening and he was a firstborn. I didn't like the thought of him being taken on Passover. But, then, he was resuscitated and death was swallowed in victory for the time being and for that I thank Adonai. He was not taken as a firstborn on Passover. Quite the contrary, he experienced life over death just like the Israelites. You can imagine how beautiful his resuscitation is to me because my passion is to teach of the many examples in the Tanakh of the pictures of death and resurrection of Messianic figures. Adonai is Good and His mercy endures forever! And . . . Yeshua is THE Messiah.

Just want to let you know that I am now a regular programmer on God's Learning Channel (GLC). I will be teaching a new teaching each week. Each week a teaching will air five times during the week (Mon-Thurs and Saturday). Then, the next week will air a new teaching and so on . . .

Be on the look out for a good mix of YouTube and Power Point and Video presentations. You absolutely almost can't believe how extensive this teaching is. But it's here, it's there, it's every where. In fact, Adonai is literally shouting out to us through the pages of Scripture teaching us this most blessed of truths - Resurrection occurs on day THREE! So, GET READY!
The Restoration of Torah Ministries’ Think Tank Strictly speaking, a think tank is an organization, institute, corporation, or group that conducts research. The term think tank itself, however, was originally used in reference to organizations that offered military advice, most notably the RAND Corporation, formed originally in 1945.
