Barghouti, who is currently incarcerated in an Israeli prison for multiple terror-murders, made the call during an interview with Al-Hayat Al-Jadida. The interview marked nine years since the capture of Barghouti by the Israel Defense Forces on April 15, 2002.
He said participants should come from all over the world, not just Judea and Samaria. Describing the proposed march as non-violent, Barghouti instructed participants to use slogans like "people want the end of the occupation" and "freedeom, return, and independence."
Barghouti also said the Tunisian revolution's success was a victory for 'Palestine' and that Israel was the biggest geopolitical loser in light of the fall of authoritarian Arab regimes.
