| MIA Leadership ChangeShalom,
We would like to inform our members and friends of a change in the leadership of the Messianic Israel Alliance. Hale Harris will be spending more time developing and working with the B'nai Ephraim International (BEI) organization and his local congregation Beit Ephraim in the months to come, as well as enjoying a bit more family time. Due to these changes, Hale has resigned from his position on the Shepherd’s Council of the MIA. He remains committed to the MIA and his local congregation remains an Ally and Way Station of the MIA.
A great deal of thanks goes to Hale and Shelly Harris and their family for their service to the MIA over the past ten years. Their steady leadership has been an integral part of the fruitfulness of the MIA and helped to establish the service organization we are today.
We would also like to announce today that Daniel Botkin has agreed to serve on the MIA’s Shepherd’s Council. John Conrad, Scott Diffenderfer, and Hale Harris uniformly agree that Daniel Botkin is the right man to take over in light of Hale’s stepping aside. Daniel Botkin is a long-term Ally of the MIA, a man of integrity, and has a passion for the Kingdom of God. The fruit of his life is a good example to us all and his ability to rightly divide the Word with truth and compassion will well serve the people of the MIA.
Daniel and his wife Teresa live in East Peoria, IL and shepherd Gates of Eden Messianic Congregation. They have four lovely daughters at home, three grown children, and three grandchildren. Daniel is an artist, writer, teacher, and musician and has published the bimonthly Gates of Eden magazine since 1995.
Please join us in embracing these changes and looking ahead with great anticipation of what the Father will do in our midst in the years to come.
