In the past few days I read a book called “The Harbinger,” written by a prophet out of Judah by the name of Jonathan Cahn.
Some of you may be already acquainted with this message, but if not I would highly recommend reading the book and/or watching the following (although there are obvious benefits to reading the book):

The hinge around which Jonathan Cahn’s message revolves is Isaiah 9:10: "The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with hewn stones; the sycamores are cut down, but we will replace them with cedars." Rather than analyze this verse, I would like to look at its context. Let me just insert that although the writer does not know or acknowledge who Ephraim/Israel is, his message addresses them, yet it appears that only a remnant will respond: “For though your people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, a remnant of them will return; the destruction decreed shall overflow with righteousness” (Isaiah 10:22 emphasis added). In order to get the full impact of what has been revealed to the author from Isaiah 9:10, one must examine Isaiah chapter 8 through 10:23.
As we know, YHVH has been faithful to keep His covenant of multiplicity to the House of Joseph/Ephraim. In the above quoted scripture Israel is foretold about its scattering and multiplication as “the sand of the sea,” which seems to have come to its fullness in our day. For many years Yair Davidiy, a faithful servant, has been writing and lecturing in the House of Judah about the prophetic destiny of the Northern Kingdom (House of Joseph) in the Western nations. He has proven in many ways that Israel’s seed is in multitudes of Americans: "They shall walk after YHVH. He will roar like a lion. When He roars, then His sons shall come trembling from the west” (Hosea 11:10). And I might add - the shores of the United States cannot be any further west from Israel’s coastline.
In the last few decades some of the faith people in the “Church” have been waking up to their Hebraic roots. The Spirit of Messiah is causing their hearts to respond to this end time restoration of their hidden identity. This has been in response (knowingly or not) to the prophetic words uttered by the prophet Malachi: “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YHVH. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse" (4:5-6). This prophetic plan is of such great magnitude, that YHVH had issued a warning that failure to respond would cause the earth to be cursed. Since the sons of Israel are not only in the West, but also in every tongue, tribe and nation (see Hosea 7:8) the curse - “the destruction decreed” - is and will be encircling the globe as it did in Egypt of old. At such a time as this may we find ourselves hidden in the light of Goshen and under the Paschal lamb’s blood- splashed lintels.
In July 2009 YHVH sent Rimona and I out of Israel with a message and a warning. When we returned, at the end of August, I wrote a summary of this message for Yom Teruah: The Watchman’s Teruah Please read it along with “The Harbinger.” We are not going to avoid the judgments that are coming, but we can certainly be prepared. Before that great and terrible day of YHVH’s righteous judgments, it is very important that we heed the verse just prior to the one referred to above: "Remember the Torah of Moses, My servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments” (Malachi 4:4). The reason for the judgments is because YHVH’s called out ones, His people, are not obeying His holy instructions, His statutes or as Jonathan Cahn writes, quoting George Washington at his inaugural address to the nation: “the rules of order and right which Heaven itself hath ordained” (page 213).
As you will learn from The Harbinger, the terror attacks on September 11th 2001 were a significant part of the judgments and provided an opportunity to repent. Since then the terrorists (in the Isaiah text referred to as “the Assyrians,” and in Habakkuk 1 “the Chaldeans”) have not gone away, they have been infiltrating the high institutes of learning; the universities and technical schools, they are taking up professional positions in every area of life, especially in the cyber world. They will at some point bring down the entire computerized systems and you know what that means... The government talks of sleeper cells, never dreaming or suspecting that these cells are out in broad daylight; thus proving who are the ones actually sleeping (and that includes the “Church”).
In Isaiah 10 the enemy is described as “the rod of YHVH’s anger,” and “the staff” that He uses to vent His indignation against Ephraim/Israel and Judah:
"Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger and the staff in whose hand is My indignation. I will send him against an ungodly nation, and against the people of My wrath I will give him charge, to seize the spoil, to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. Yet he [the enemy] does not mean so, nor does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy, and cut off not a few nations” (Isaiah 10:5-7). These enemies have been infiltrating the so-called Christian nations. Their rank and file seem to be “okay folk,” at least for a while as “Yet he does not mean so, their hearts do not think so.” Nevertheless, YHVH has hidden in them a seed of destruction. What is sad is that only a remnant out of the entire “sands of the sea” of the seed of Israel will actually know what is going on, and hence repent and return.
Many western Christians are still listening to false prophets who are sending messages of prosperity and revival. This message of prosperity is based upon a spirit of defiance against YHVH’s righteous judgments. YHVH judged the idols of Egypt and He will do the same with the idols of this present generation, so take warning as to what precedes the remnant’s return.
Next week I will be taking a little break, as we are preparing for Pesach and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. May this be, for all of us, a time of removal of Pharisaical and Scribal leaven, “and let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Corinthians 5:8).
