PURIM A CRITICAL TIME
As February comes to an in this leap year of 2012 we see that once again the kings of the earth plot war for the spring. But in this case it is not just a good time of year to go to war, but possibly a biblical or prophetic time of war. Recently Rick Riding was sharing that he and others felt that the Lord was saying there will be a critical time of decision making for both Israel and the United States to make very serious decisions concerning Iran. The time frame Rick was being shown was March 4Th to the 6Th. That there would be high level decisions made in these days that would be critical, and that the wrong decision could bring dire consequences to the whole world. A few days later it was announced that Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would be in Washington to meet with US President Obama to discus strategies for a potential attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. Which was a clear confirmation of what Rick and others felt the Lord spoke to them days earlier. The call that we have been given in the spirit for this time is to pray as the spirit leads concerning this serious time. The other very important prophetic sign to consider is that on the eve of March 6Th begins Purim. This story is covered in the book of Esther, this would be an excellent book to read before you go to prayer. In the book of Esther it was Persia that sought to destroy the Jewish people, and today Persia goes by the name Iran. Read the book of Esther and set aside a time to fast and pray. Please do read this following dream and allow the Lord to direct your prayers.
This past Friday, we had pastors from the Tel Av iv area come together to pray in our. An Arab pastor from Jaffa shared a dream that he had had.
In the dream, he saw a huge airplane flying over Tel Av iv. As the plane flew over, it began to make announcements in Arabic and then started firing missiles that were hitting Tel Av iv. There were fires throughout the city and widespread panic.
The pastor said that he felt that we needed to pray for the protection of Tel Av iv-Yafo. We, all of the pastors and their wives, then stood in a circle and held hands to pray. Jewish pastors, along with the Arab pastor, prayed for the protection of Israel.
After a time of prayer, one pastor's wife started to sing the Lord's Prayer in Hebrew. It was powerful as we joined, singing in a cappella.
We have since heard of similar visions, from the dream about Tel Av iv, over other areas in Israel including Haifa. We can see the storm gathering around us and the clouds getting darker. We have been told that we have thousands of missiles that are pointed at our homes in Israel.
When the time comes to enter the storm, please pray for the Lord's protection over the families in our congregation. Also pray for all of our young men who are in the Israeli military, especially my future son-in-law. Pray that we will all be strong, courageous, full of faith and resolve, and that we will hear the voice of our Lord.
