I lived in England for three years in the late 1980s. Even then the Islamic immigrant population was exploding, and I understand it is phenomenally greater now than it was then. Some figures I looked up a couple of years ago indicate that some areas of London are now more than 60% Islamic.
This is a lengthy but very interesting TV investigative report on how Islamists in the UK are taking over the culture and government there. It was prepared by Dispatches on Britain’s Channel 4.Americans should take a long, hard look at this because experience teaches us that what happens in other lands often makes its way here. We have vehement multiculturalists in our nation who ignore the barbarism and oppression of Islam, insisting that it is (at least) asvalid as our Judeo-Christian heritage, and must be accommodated. We also have Leftists who are chomping at the bit to make America just another mediocre Europe-like nation.
So we cannot take for granted that “it could never happen here.”
Indeed, when we look at Dearborn, Michigan–home to the Islamic Center of America–we have a foretaste of what may be in store for the rest of America if good people do not put a stop to the expansion of Islam.
In Dearborn, several Christians were arrested for peacefully talking to Muslims about their faith on public property. When Pastor Terry Jones came to Dearborn to expose the dark underbelly of Islam, Dearborn Muslims gave him a hand by going ballistic.
There is also the Ground Zero Victory Mosque that Muslims want to build near the site where Muslim terrorists killed nearly 3,000 Americans on 911–and President Obama supports this.
