| Dear,
Greetings my brethren! In the past two months we have seen epic catastrophes all over the planet. A destructive earthquake in Christ Church, New Zealand. A mammoth 9.1 earthquake in Japan andensuing wall of water carrying a wake of destruction in Japan. The Fukushima nuclear reactor meltdown and radiation leakage being carried by ocean and jet stream to the West coast. Hundreds of tornadoes tearing and ripping through the south of the US. Now, the Mississippi river flooding in epic proportions, threatening a year's worth of food crops in America's heartland, and causing many to become homeless. I think Yahweh is trying to get our attention. These appear to be judgments from the creator of the heavens and the earth.
If Yah is the ultimate cause of all weather, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, and the resulting catastrophe and destruction, then I would suggest to you that He is speaking to us, in the language of nature and in the language of judgment. The question is, are we listening? What can stay His hand of judgment?

| Bechukotai "In My Statutes"
Lev. 26:3-27:34, Jeremiah 16:19-17:14, Luke 14:1-15:32 |
 The last reading from the book of Leviticus is called Bechukotai (בחקותי), which means "In My Statutes." The name comes from the first verse of the reading, which begins with the words "If you walk in My statutes ..." (Leviticus 26:3). This last reading from Leviticus promises blessings and rewards for Israel if they will keep the Torah, but punishment and curses if they break the commandments of the Torah. This portion has an important and relevant message for us today, because, by faith, we have been "grafted in" to the olive tree called Israel, (Romans 11) and are as "naturalized citizens" of the commonwealth of Israel.
