CELEBRATION OF THE MESSIANIC SEDER
Shalom Mishpocha/Family of Yahshua HaMashiach,
Welcome to the Messianic Seder! You might say: “What is the difference between traditional and Messianic Seder? The center of the celebration of the Messianic Seder is Yahshua HaMashiach-Yahshua the Messiah of Israel. He is the Lamb of Elohim Who took away the sin of the world.
Passover or Pesah in Hebrew is the first spring Feast given to the Yisraelites by Elohim of Yisra’El. It is the Feast of Redemption. It is the Feast of Deliverance from Mitsrayim/Egypt, land of slavery and bondage.
Yisraelites were and are the descendents of the 12 Tribes of Yisra’El. All Yisra’El, all 12 Tribes of Yisra’El must keep Pesah/Passover: Yehudim/Jews and Ephrayim/born from above Christians. You might be one of them. More and more Gentiles (non-Jews) are discovering their Jewish roots: starting keeping Shabbat instead of Sunday, celebrating Biblical Feasts of Yahweh, keeping the Torah, covering their heads, wearing tallits, blowing the shofars etc.
You might say: “But I am not in Egypt! What significance does it for me?” The Body of Messiah is in Spiritual Egypt. We live in sin: we lie, we cheat, we steal and we whore. Our children have gone astray because of our rebellion. We are sick, poor and ignorant. WE ARE POWERLESS. WE ARE THE HEARERS, BUT NOT THE DOERS OF THE WORD. Come to learn how to come out of the spiritual Egypt and Babylon. Discover Elohim’s tools of deliverance and start bearing fruit worthy of repentance. Hag Sameach! Happy Pesah!
Proclaiming the REVIVAL OF REPENTANCE,
Rabbi Hadassah Ryklin
