Dear,
Greetings to the Hebrew Nation community! This week we have a poignant story about the courageous Fukushima Fifty: those engineers who have been risking their lives to try to prevent nuclear meltdown of the Fukushima reactors in Japan. Please take time to read their story--and please keep these engineers and the people of Japan in your prayers!
We have an intelligent and thoughtful analysis by Frank Gaffney Jr as he comments on the ominous precedent of UN military intervention in Libya. What is the hidden agenda? Why has the US/UN taken a military approach in Libya but not Egypt? not Lebanon? not Syria? Read this thought-provoking article to explore these questions.
This week, The Palestinian PM, Salam Fayyad has gone on record stating that he is fully expecting Palestinian Statehood by this September. If Israel land is divided to make a Palestinian state, this would be a tribulation event. And, if the US is involved in pressuring Israel to divide her land, expect great judgment to come down on America.
And so, as we see earth shaking events occuring, and kings and kingdoms being toppled, we LOOK UP. I close with a portion from Psalm 71:1-5
" In you O Yahweh, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed.
In your righteousness deliver and rescue me; Incline your ear to me, and save me.
Be to me a rock to dewll in, to go into continually.
You have given the command to save me,
For You are my rock and my stronghold.
Rescue me, O my Elohim, out of the hand of the wrong, Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel.
For You are my expectation,
Master Yahweh, my Trust from my youth..."

| Courageous Fukushima Fifty |
| Engineers Who Have Been Risking Their Lives to Prevent Nuclear Meltdown |
If you've not yet heard of the "Fukushima Fifty," they are a group of engineers and workers at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant in Japan that chose to stay and brave potentially lethal amounts of radiation at the earthquake and tsunami-damaged facility in order to try to restore the power to the crippled cooling system.
A report states that the power cable has been successfully laid, with internal cabling within the nuclear reactor structures to the water pumps still being worked on. Ralph Justiano (in Tokyo) put it this way: "I think it is interesting that our brother in Christ who oversaw the operation, Naoyoshi Sato, is not named in the article, but only described as 'exhausted engineers.' So many to whom we owe our extreme gratitude are in like manner, unnamed. Our extreme gratitude goes out to all those 'exhausted engineers' and all the other unnamed workers who risk their life and health for the sake of others. May the Lord bless them greatly." Read more

Reports from Japan say radioactivity in water at reactor 2 at the damaged Fukushima nuclear plant is 10 million times the usual level. Workers trying to cool the reactor core to avoid a meltdown have been evacuated, Reuters news agency says.Earlier, Japan's nuclear agency that levels of radioactive iodine in the sea near the plant have risen to 1,850 times the usual level. The UN's nuclear agency has warned the crisis could go on for months. Read more |
| UN Intervention in Libya an Ominous Precedent for Israel |

There are many reasons to be worried about the bridge-leap the Obama Administration has just undertaken in its war with Muammar Gaddafi. How it will all end is just one of them. Particularly concerning is the prospect that what we might call the Gaddafi Precedent will be used in the not-to-distant future to justify and threaten the use of U.S. military forces against an American ally: Israel.
Here's how such a seemingly impossible scenario might eventuate:
It begins with the Palestinian Authority seeking a UN Security Council resolution that would recognize its unilateral declaration of statehood. Three top female officials in the Obama administration reprise roles they played in the Council's recent action on Libya: U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice, a vehement critic of Israel, urges that the United States support (or at least not veto) the Palestinians' gambit. She is supported by the senior director for multilateral affairs at the National Security Council, Samantha Power, who in the past argued for landing a "mammoth force" of American troops to protect the Palestinians from Israel. Ditto Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whose unalloyed sympathy for the Palestinian cause dates back at least to her days as First Lady. Read more |

| Fayyad Meets with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates |
Israel should end the occupation of the West Bank by September, Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad told visiting United States Secretary of Defense Robert Gates on Friday. Gates, who also met with Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, visited Fayyad in Ramallah to speak about a return to peace negotiations with Israel. Fayyad stressed to Gates the importance of meeting the September deadline set in what he called the "Ending the Occupation, Establishing the State" program, a statement issued by the premier's office said.
