Yemeni Jew stabbed to death in Sanaa

50-year-old Aharon Zindani's son says his father was stabbed in Sanaa by a Muslim man who accused him of witchcraft.

A member of the Jewish community in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa was stabbed to death by a Muslim man accusing him of witchcraft on Tuesday, AFP quoted the man’s son as saying.
Aharon Zindani succumbed to his wounds at an area hospital after being critically injured in the attack, the community’s rabbi told AFP.

According to the Arabic website Al Shorfa, an al-Qaeda affiliated group in Yemen, called Ansar al-Sharia (or the “Supporters of Sharia Law") beheaded a woman on April 11 for “practicing magic and sorcery.”
