PREPARATIONS were under way last night for the break-up of the euro as Europe’s debt crisis spiralled out of control.

As Treasury officials worked through the night to soften the impact on Britain, David Cameron warned that the single European currency was facing its “moment of truth”.

According to a BBC news [1], August 12 was the 5^th day of ongoing riots in London and a few other cities of England. The report also said that PM David Cameron assured people of adopting every action for restoring order. The report claimed that it was relatively peaceful across England on Wednesday night after rioting that continued in several cities on Tuesday and in the previous three nights in London. PM also said that the police have legal backing to use any tactics necessary, including using baton rounds, water cannons etc, within 24 hours’ notice. Three courts in London would also remain open from Wednesday night to deal with the number of people charged.
