The first runners have already finished. David Toniok of Kenya completed the race in two hours, 19 minutes and 52 seconds, winning first place and setting a new Jerusalem Marathon record for fastest time.
In second place was Gudeta Biratu of Ethiopia, with a time of 2:22:42, followed by John Mutai of Kenya with a time of 2:23:31.
Mihiret Antonios of Ethiopia was the first woman to cross the finish line, clocking 2:48:38.
The half (21 km) marathon was won by Onesmus Serem in a time of 1:05:55, eight seconds ahead of Feyisa Lerna. Alex Chepkwik Saekwo came in third with a time of 1:06:41.
