The response, to our initial announcements of Hebrew Roots Network, has been strong. We have fielded a myriad of requests and contacts. Several people have asked for more information, concerning our intent for the Founders Tabernacle Team, and how it relates to our long term vision. The answer to those inquiries is actually contained in our name, specifically the last word: network.
When people encounter the word network, they often think of how it relates to television or technology. While those applications certainly apply to HRN, there is a deeper definition that is vital to the success of this network. This definition relates to people:
Network: an extended group of people with similar interests or concerns who interact and remain in informal contact for mutual assistance or support.
Hebrew Roots Network is focused on a common goal of taking the good news of the Hebraic Roots of our faith around the world. Together we will build an Internet television network that is undergirded by a myriad of contributors, just as when the Tabernacle was built.
Over the next few weeks, there will be several opportunities presented for you to meaningfully participate in HRN. Right now, we are focused on putting together the financial structure that will take HRN around the world. HRN's Tabernacle Team (those who donate or pledge at least $1000 annually before Nov. 1, 2011) will assist the founders in significant ways.
For instance, we have reserved one seat on our Board of Directors for our Tabernacle Team to fill annually. Each year, one person will be elected to this seat from those on the Tabernacle Team who have donated at least $5000 before November 1, 2011. This will give a voice in the operation of HRN, to those who assisted us in launching HRN financially. To us, reserving this board seat is simply the right thing to do in light of our network vision.
Rest assured that the overall direction of Hebrew Roots Network will remain in the hands of the teachers and leaders who founded HRN, thereby ensuring continued adhesion to our founding vision.
Thanks to those who have already donated (all donation amounts are greatly appreciated) and offered their support. For others, you can join our network right now. To stay up to date on the happenings at HRN join our E Club now:
