Dear,

Greetings to the Hebrew Nation community! We enter into Purim, and reflect back on the mighty deliverance that Yahweh brought forth for the Jewish people who were on the verge of being completely eradicated by Haman. We rejoice that the Jews were not eradicated then.
But, this past week, an evil and heinous crime was committed against the Fogel family in Itamar, Israel. A father, Rabbi Udi Fogel, wife, Ruth, two sons, Yoav, 11 and Elad, 3, and four month old daughter, Hadas, were stabbed in their beds on Friday, March 11th while they lay sleeping. To make this evil even worse, Palestinians in the Gaza strip, upon hearing the news, rejoiced in the streets and celebrated with sharing candy and treats with each other.

As we come into the Purim season, please keep the three surviving children, Roi, 8, Yishai, 2 and their sister Tamar, aged 12, in your prayers. Please pray for comfort for the Israelis as they mourn this loss of a precious family so brutally slain.

Many evil forces are lining up against the nation of Israel. Please keep Bibi Netanyahu in your prayers, as he makes decisions to protect and defend the nation against powers surrounding him that would like to see Israel "wiped off the map."

May we be as Esther, and stand in that place of intercession before the King of Kings, as we ask for His supernatural protection over His people, Israel (both those who are in the nation, and those who are in the diaspora).

What does it mean? (commentary from Don Wyant): The real battle is not over a cruel despot or democracy that leads to something better for the people. Qaddafi spent billions on the people and 85% are literate. There is virtually no unemployment. The real issue is Sunni vs Shite, Iran vs. Saudi's. Obama has abandoned peace in the Middle East, (including our allies) in favor of radicals that will quickly take over in the name of Allah and join with Al Qaeda, Bin Laden, Iran and those who are hoping to destroy the U.S. and Israel. Ultimately it will work to regather Israel the people, but in the meantime Obama is either treacherous or ignorant or both.

Japan Makes Progress in Nuclear Crisis: Quake Death Toll Rises

Quake Death Toll Rises: 15,000 Feared Dead

Japan made some progress on Sunday in its race to avert disaster at a nuclear power plant leaking radiation after an earthquake and tsunami that are estimated to have killed more than 15,000 people in one prefecture alone.

Three hundred engineers have been battling inside the danger zone to salvage the six-reactor Fukushima plant in the world's worst nuclear crisis since Chernobyl 25 years ago.

Police said they believed more than 15,000 people had been killed by the double disaster in Miyagi prefecture, one of four that took the brunt of the tsunami damage. In total, almost 12,000 people are missing in the northeast, where the confirmed death toll stood at more than 7,600.

The unprecedented crisis will cost the world's third largest economy as much as $200 billion and require Japan's biggest reconstruction push since post-World War Two.

Update on Fukushima Reactors

Power Cable Attached to Number 1 and 2 Reactors

The following are main developments after a massive earthquake and tsunami devastated northeast Japan and crippled a nuclear power station, raising the risk of uncontrolled radiation.

- Engineers have attached a power cable to the No. 1 and No. 2 reactors, and hope to restore electricity on Sunday prior to an attempt to switch the pumps on. Additionally, they aim to reach No. 3 and 4 later in the day.

- IAEA says unclear whether water pumps will work.

- Japan government spokesman says some stabilization at the most critical No.3 reactor. Engineers meanwhile are using diesel generators for less critical reactors No. 5 and No.6 reactors.

- Temperature in spent fuel pools at reactors No. 5 and 6 returning to normal.

- Tests detect radiation above the national safety level in spinach and milk produced near the Fukushima plant. A sample of tap water from Tokyo shows a tiny level of radioactive. Read more...
