Announcement: ITD Weekly Local Radio Programme Opportunity
An opportunity has opened for In That Day to present a weekly one hour radio program through our local Village Radio/Access Radio in Tauranga, here in New Zealand on 1368 AM on Saturday evenings between 5-6 pm.
In this weekly 1 hour program on Saturdays between 5-6pm, I will be presenting a study from the annual scripture cycle with a view towards prophetic lessons for the imminent redemption of Jacob and the Messianic Era (the millenial reign).

“Getting Egypt Out Of Us”
James 5:1-9
1 ¶ Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of YHVH of Sabaoth (YHVH of Hosts).
5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of YHVH. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of YHVH draweth nigh.
Our Heavenly Abba is our refuge and sure place of safety. Over the past 20 years with the call to repentance back to learning and keeping of His commandments, He has been drawing His people out of the world (Egypt), its systems and its denominational mixture religions. He is gathering His people Israel together in the places that He desires. We are being assembled in our enclaves together with those who have the been brought together by YHVH”s Spirit with the heart, mind, and purpose of His Spirit – which is the end-time repentance of a covenanted people to YHVH’s commandments and the full testimony of Yahushua Messiah (Rev 12:17). This will become evident in the end of days to the whole world as it consolidates itself in the second “Greater” Exodus and the visible restoration of Jacob (12 tribes, in Yahoshua Messiah) to the covenant land in the last days.
Isaiah 11: 10-1310 ¶ And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that YHVH shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
YHVH is the only true place of safety in the days ahead. There is also coming a Day that is going to be a time of Jacob’s triumph in Messiah!
And meanwhile Messiah Yahoshua continues to work to faithfully complete the restoration of Jacob – which is that which He has begun from ancient times…
Isaiah 49:5-6
5 And now, saith YHVH that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of YHVH, and my God shall be my strength.
6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
…we should be examining ourselves to ensure we get Egypt out of us!
James 4:8: Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners (transgressors of the Law of YHVH); and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
In Exodus 13:17 we read:
It came to pass ( VaYehi ) when Pharaoh let the people go, that God did not lead them [by] way of the land of the Philistines for it was near, because God said, Lest the people reconsider when they see war and return to Egypt
The concern of Abba YHVH is that when His people were on their journey to the promised land, that they would not fear and return to Egypt. This however would have been physically impossible at that time because 1) Egypt as a civilisation had been destroyed in the Exodus and 2) the way behind them across the sea had been closed. So this “return to Egypt” refers not simply to Abba’s concern of a mere physical return of the Hebrews back to the land of Egypt, but their psychological and spiritual return to the ways and mind of Egypt, which represents the real bondage of the world’s systems, thinking and religious doctrines of idolatry!
The Book of Genesis is prophetically teaching us – the last generation – the real meaning of the “come out of her my people” calling in the Book of Revelation.
Re 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
To understand this in the light of Yahoshua Messiah, we read from the scripture that Yahoshua (pictured in the book of Genesis in the shadow of Joseph) has bought us for a price from the slavery of the evil master (1 Cor 6:20; 1 Cor 7:23). We have been set free from any claim that the evil one (pictured in the book of Genesis as Pharaoh) would have over us – and we are also instructed that we must be transformed by the renewal of our minds, because if not we might return to be under slavery (deception) of the mental and spiritual realities of Egypt, should we face a fear of battle.
It is this return in the last days, that Abba is concerned that we deeply learn that His ways are different from the ways of the Egyptians and that we must repent and leave ALL the ways of Egypt – especially their worldviews and religious ways. To put it another way, we must put leave the Egypt-Greeco-Roman mentalities and religious doctrines behind us and not return there, if we are to continue though the coming wilderness and successfully enter into the promised covenant land of the millennial reign!
We are commanded that we must be transformed by the renewal of our minds (Roms 12:12), from the Egypt-Greek-Roman mind (the worldly mind) to the biblical mind, which is the mind of Messiah Yahoshua, that is made clearly apparent by its voluntary obedience to YHVH’s commandments and to His service. That includes the biblical calendar set asides for YHVH’s appointed times of acceptable worship, vital to the fulfilment of prophetic deliverance in the days ahead.
Whilst YHVH enabled the Hebrews to be brought out of the bondage of Egypt, at another level the Exodus text seems to imply that Pharaoh would be set up as a servant to chase them out of Egypt. Israel ‘s exiles have always been always be self-inflicted. If we read the Torah carefully we see that Jacob went into Egypt and into Goshen as free men and NOT slaves. Further we find that in the great famine it is the Egyptians who went into personal slavery under Pharaoh (Genesis 47), NOT the Hebrew people. We then read later that over the next 120 years or so, the Egyptians hatched a plot to deceive the descendant generations of the Hebrews into accepting (believing) a condition of slavery – even though they never were slaves in the first place – the point being that the later generations of Hebrews voluntarily succumbed to a state of affairs whereby they believed their condition of slavery and bondage to be true - which was a great deception.
In the last days, the prophetic scripture tells us there will be also be a great deception which many will succumb to.

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
The tragedy is that many who are evangelical Christians today are succumbing to a great delusion from their replacent theologies and supersessionism (the Christian Church has replaced Jacob /Israel) and dispensationalism (The Christian Church age is different to the age of Israel) which are the foundations of the pre-tribulation rapture teachings and other end time apostacies.
The scriptures teach us the worldly mind is a position of slavery and is a great deception – speaking philosophically the logic of the Egypt-Greeco-Roman mind is but a delusion and a madness – only the Biblical mind is real truth and a sanity which is demonstrated to us wonderfully by the mind of Yahoshua Messiah. Thus we, the last generation, like the Hebrews of the Exodus, have to be delivered from the psychological and spiritual deception that keeps YHVH’s people in slavery of Pharaoh and thinking that we are in any way dependant on Pharaoh’s (the world’s) systems for our very survival in the coming days.
We must walk by faith in YHVH’s truth and prophetic word, and know that any fear that comes upon us that makes us think that we need to depend on Egypt’s systems (world economic system, banks, jobs etc) to enable us to survive in the time of "Jacob's trouble" is but a mental return to the slavery of Egypt, and is contrary to our high calling as disciples of Yahoshua. We must not fear Pharoah, but trust in the complete work of our Redeemer Yahoshua and the Name of YHVH!
The Torah does not appear to state that YHVH took them out of Egypt , or even that the children of Israel left Egypt. Rather, it tells us that it was Pharaoh who let them out or, looking at it another way - chased them out. The implication is that the Hebrews needed the chasing by Pharaoh to get the "Egypt" out of their own mind and thinking. When they began their journey, they were still under the psychological and spiritual control of Egypt They still did not have the strength to realise and grasp their prophetic destiny that was before them, evident by their continual fearful complaining against Moses for what was happening to them. We must not be a such similar lack of faith and understandign, since we have the record of biblical history and the lessons of the first exodus generation failures, to teach us how not to be this time around!
So let us consider...
Ex 13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
The people of Israel first had to courageously walk by faith into the sea and experience the redemption of YHVH of Hosts as He split the sea by virtue of their appointment. It is then that Abba ensured that the spiritual and psychological tyranny of Egypt would begin to die along with the Egyptian taskmasters on the shores of the sea. In the wilderness period, we must not fear but remeber the examples of the biblical record of the frist Exodus generation. Such are the vital lessons for us - the last generation who is preparing to embark on another great exodus from the four corners of the world (Isaiah 11:11). Let us not make the same mistakes! (1 Cor 10:11)

“Day 5 birds and fish were created. Birds fly on wind currents, fish swim with sea currents, both swarm. This corresponds to the 5th Spirit of God – power (gibor), which corresponds to the 5th Feast Day-Rosh HaShanah (Yom Teruah) Day of Trumpets. Beginning of Season of Repentance. This in turn corresponds to the 5th Church in Revelation - Sardis:
Written to His Church:
"To the angel of the Messianic Community in Sardis, write: 'Here is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars: "I know what you are doing - you have a reputation for being alive, but in fact you are dead! 2 Wake up, (church is asleep) and strengthen what remains, before it dies too! (possibly Spirit without Truth or Torah) For I have found what you are doing incomplete in the sight of my God. 3 So remember what you received and heard, and obey it, and turn from your sin! (Repent) For if you don't wake up, I will come like a thief; and you don't know at what moment I will come upon you. 4 Nevertheless, you do have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes (idolatry); and they will walk with me, clothed in white, because they are worthy (have endured the testing in the Spring Feasts and are repenting, have turned back to God and obeying His commandments). 5 He who wins the victory (over sin) will, like them, be dressed in white clothing; and I will not blot his name out of the Book of Life; in fact, I will acknowledge him individually (sealed) before my Father and before his angels. 6 Those who have ears let them hear what the Spirit is saying to the Messianic communities."CJB
To me the fish and bird phenomenon is a warning to His Church primarily, possibly others, but others would have no reason to understand or see it that way. I think it a warning to a Church that may be too dead and mingled with the world system to see it. They are asleep. Full of idolatry, playing church, but no life in them. Looking for manifestions, the spirit, but throwing out the truth (Torah) and the commandments. Must have both Spirit and Truth. 2Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power (gibor) thereof. Gibor (power) is not so coincidently the 5th Spirit of God. He tells them to repent and to wake up (2 times). Judgement is coming to His house first.
Yom Teruah in the Fall Feasts leads to Yom Kippur when the gates are closed(Judgement). This is the last call to repent. The Spring Feasts, especially Passover and Unleavened bread corresponds to this same season in the Fall. We are to get the leaven (sin) out, crucify the flesh, repent, and turn back to God. This is a time of testing, so that by Fall we know what to do, we want to repent because we love Him. We keep His commandments because we love Him and repentance is easy. We are passionate about Him and Him only, it is sacrificial love, what we want doesn't matter. In the end, the judgement will be in the Fall. But those who repent will reach the Feast of Tabernacles, season of pure joy and the wedding Feast with the Lamb. They are Sealed and dressed in white clothing and will Tabernacle with their Bridegroom for all eternity.

…But even before all of these weather disasters struck the price of food had been going up significantly. The UN recently announced that THE GLOBAL PRICE OF FOOD HIT AN ALL-TIME HIGH DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, and world leaders all over the globe are openly expressing concern about what 2011 is going to bring.
Sadly, the truth is that there has been a trend of rising food prices for quite some time. According to Forbes, corn is up 94% since June, soybeans are up 51% since June, and wheat is up 80% since last June.
As one of my readers recently pointed out to me, it usually takes about six months for the prices of agricultural futures to filter down into the supermarkets. So the very high prices for agricultural commodities that we are seeing right now should really start to be felt around the globe by the middle of 2011.
In addition to everything else, reports continue to come in of thousands of birds and millions of fish suddenly dying all over the globe, and nobody seems to really know what is causing it.

To Germany’s south, another voice is being lifted up in a more carefully measured manner than that of the more strident cries of German politicians and bankers for change in Europe. It’s the voice of a pope. Having recently reinforced the ultra-conservative ranks of the curia with 24 newly appointed cardinals, Pope Benedict xvi is calling for a new evangelizing crusade. He recently reiterated the very same appeal made by his predecessor, Pope John Paul ii, from the very same spot—the end of the Canterbury pilgrims’ road, Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
While the media fixated on the perversity of kissing homosexuals as the pope spoke his piece, Benedict didn’t miss a beat. He called for a grand evangelization of Europe, a return to the Holy Roman Catholic precepts of a bygone age. Some commentators are now starting to pick up on the pope’s theme. “Herman Van Rompuy may sense, however dimly, that the Europe of the 21st century needs something more than the allure of the welfare state to sustain itself—not least because that welfare state is about to crash into a fiscal wall. … Those interested in resolving that dilemma are more likely to find creative and historically nuanced answers in Rome than in Brussels, and from a Bavarian theologian rather than a Belgian politician” (ibid.).
