Set Apart Gems was born in the heart of Jocelin and her mom as she began moving more and more into Messianic/Hebrew Roots Ministry. She says, "I remember my mom saying 'you should pray about doing a retreat for young women. There is nothing like that out there, and it is so needed.'" This vision continued to grow until the Father provided a friend to help dream of the topics and making this a reality. And then YHVH provided a location which would work very nice and worked with our observance of Shabbat! Add on top of that the total support of her parents, and Jocelin began serious pursuit of Set Apart Gems. Then the timing worked perfectly to be able to have Eddie Chumney of Hebraic Heritage Ministries Int'l to lead our Torah Service, and it was absolute confirmation of YHVH's blessing upon this vision.
This Retreat is presented by Standing in YHVH's Hand Ministries whose mission is to train believers how to be stronger in their walk with the Messiah and free of the "world" through lifestyle, finances, and relationships. We pray that you are challenged, encouraged, and strengthened through this ministry as we seek to glorify our Heavenly Father.
