Dear,

Greetings to the Hebrew Nation community! By now, many of you may have already heard in the news about Obama's Mideast Policy speech given last Thursday in which he suggested that Israel return to 1967 borders as a starting point for peace negotiations with the Palestinians. The very next day, Bibi Netanyahu flew into Washington to meet with the president, and, "with a Lion of Judah roar in his belly" soundly rebuked the president by stating on international TV,  "While Israel is prepared to make generous compromises, it cannot go back to the 1967 lines because those lines are indefensible."

As Obama leaves for Europe, Netanyahu will be speaking to AIPAC today and to Congress tomorrow. Don't miss the link below where you can watch a live feed of his address (or watch later). Also, please be continuing to hold him up in your prayers.

I close with scripture to reflect on:

"For Zion's sake I am not silet, and for Jerusalem's sake I do not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her deliverance as a lamp that burns. And the nations shall see your righteousness, and all sovereigns your esteem. And you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of Yahweh designates. And you shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of Yahweh, and royal crown in the hand of your Elohim."  Isaiah 62:1-3

"And it shall be in the latter days that the mountain on the House of Yahweh is etablished on the top of the moutains, and shall be exalted above thehills. And all the nations shall flow to it. And many peoples shall come and say, "Come, and let us to up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the House of the Elohim of Jacob and Let Him teach us His ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Zion comes forth the Torah, and the Word of Yahweh from Jerusalem."   Isaiah 2:2-3

Blessings and shalom

Obama's Mideast Policy Speech
Speech Given One Day Before Netanyahu's Arrival in Washington

Obama ME policy speech
Thursday, May 19th. Obama has been much criticized for his remarks he made during his Mideast Policy speech made on Thursday. In his address Obama stated: "The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states." Those remarks, which seemed to endorse the 1967 borders as the basis for the Israeli-Palestinian peace process has sparked tensions between Jerusalem and Washington and drawn much criticism from leading Jewish Americans. These remarks drew heated responses from both the Jewish and Christian communities who understand that allowing a Hamas-backed Palestinian government into the West Bank would be suicidal for Israel.

Netanyahu Confronts Obama During Televised News Event

Friday, May 20th. The remarks Obama made about returning to 1967 borders drew him a strong rebuke from Netanyahu just one day later on Friday when he and Obama met in the White House. During an internationally televised news conference, Netanyahu flat out rejected the plan outlined by Obama that would use the 1967 Middle East borders as the starting point for negotiations. Netanyahu stated, "While Israel is prepared to make generous compromises for peace, it cannot go back to the 1967 lines, because these lines are indefensible."  He also went on to say, "Israel cannot negotiate with a Palestinian government that is backed by Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization that is committed to Israel's destruction." Israel cannot be asked to negotiate with a government that is backed by the Palestinian version of Al Qaeda."  One intercessor commented:

"
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flew right into that White House storm, with a roar in his belly...We had been praying that the Lion of Judah would roar out of Bibi in such a way that Obama would have his feet swept. Clearly that is what happened. In his characteristic style of respectful clarity, Bibi told Obama and the rest of the world that Israel would NOT be taken back to the pre-1967 borders.

Obama's Address to AIPAC on Sunday

 AIPAC_Obama

Sunday, May 22nd. US President Barack Obama spoke before an AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) conference in Washington Sunday.
In his address, he clarified his remarks about returning to 1967 borders: "Let me reaffirm what "1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps" means. By definition, it means that the parties themselves -- Israelis and Palestinians -- will negotiate a border that is different than the one that existed on June 4, 1967.  That's what mutually agreed-upon swaps means.
What does it mean?  On Thursday, when Obama called for Israel to return to the indefensible 1967 borders, the damage of his remarks was already done. The comments shared with AIPAC audience seem to be a version of "damage control" and  "double-speak". It seemed that Obama was saying what the audience wanted to hear but with intentions of doing something entirely different.

Other key points Obama made in his address:

Obama opposes a unilateral approach via UN to create a Palestinian state:

Iran and nuclear weapons: "So let me be absolutely clear -- we remain committed to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons."

What does it mean?
The current administration has done very little to prevent Iran from becoming nuclear armed.
The Iranian foreign minister announced last Thursday that the Russian-built reactor at Bushehr has reached critical mass and is now operational. Obama's words do not line up with his actions.

Fatah and Hamas treaty
: "The recent agreement between Fatah and Hamas poses an enormous obstacle to peace.  No country can be expected to negotiate with a terrorist organization sworn to its destruction."

What does it mean? Obama is now backing up the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, a known organization that supports and sponsors other terrorist organizations. On May 19th, a day after his Mideast Policy speech, President Obama laid out a plan to forgive Egypt of over $1 Billion in debt. He is also planning to provide $3 Billion in cash and debt forgiveness to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Again, Obama's words do not line up with his actions.

Hamas recognizing Israel's right to exist: "And we will continue to demand that Hamas accept the basic responsibilities of peace, including recognizing Israel's right to exist and rejecting violence and adhering to all existing agreements."

Gilad Shalit: "And we once again call on Hamas to release Gilad Shalit, who has been kept from his family for five long years."

Defensible Borders for Israel
Israel's Critical Security Needs for a Viable Peace

The pressure on Israel to give up land, including a large part of their capital city of Jerusalem has never been greater. Each time Israel has given up land for the promise of "peace," they, instead, got rockets fired from a closer range, killing innocent men, women, and children. Watch this eye-opening 5 minute clip:

Netanyahu to Address AIPAC on Monday and Congress on Tuesday

Netanyahu
Obama just gave his address to AIPAC on Sunday. He is quietly exiting on stage right, leaving for Europe on the same day. Now entering on stage left is Benjamin Netanyahu who is scheduled to address AIPAC on Monday. The two leaders seem to be using AIPAC (and Congress) as a "world stage" to present their very different visions and views for land, borders and peace in the Middle East. It appears that they are in a "media confrontation" to gather world attention to their differing visions for peace.

Netanyahu is appealing directly to Congress to stand with and support Israel. He knows there are many in Congress who are strong supporters of Israel. If a Hamas-backed Palestinian government is allowed into biblical Judea/Samaria (aka "The West Bank") this would be inviting known terrorists into your backyard: terrorists whose sworn mission is the complete destruction of Israel.

Shariah Law in American Courts
More than 50 Significant Cases Found in Appellate Published Cases
Shariah Law in Americas courts
The Center for Security Policy's report, Shariah Law and American State Courts evaluates 50 Appellate Court cases from 23 states that involve conflicts between Shariah (Islamic law) and American state law.
These cases are the stories of Muslim American families, mostly Muslim women and children, who were asking American courts to preserve their rights to equal protection and due process. These families came to America for freedom from the discriminatory and cruel laws of Shariah. When our courts then apply Shariah law in the lives of these families, and deny them equal protection, they are betraying the principles on which America was founded.
The study's findings suggest that Shariah law has entered into state court decisions, in conflict with the Constitution and state public policy.

Muslim Inferiority Complex Kills Christians

Egyptian Muslims persecute christians
Days ago in Egypt, throngs of Muslims (henceforth, "Islamists"), estimated at 3,000, fired guns and rifles and hurled Molotov cocktails at Coptic churches, homes, and businesses in the Imbaba region near Cairo: twelve Christians were killed-some shot by snipers atop rooftops-232 injured; three churches were set aflame to cries of "Allahu Akbar," while Coptic homes were looted and torched.

As
usual, Egyptian authority did little to stop this latest rampage. So what triggered this latest bit of Salafi savagery-or, as the MSM calls it, "sectarian strife"? Islamists claim that a Christian girl converted to Islam and the Coptic Church responded by abducting her and torturing her into renouncing Islam. Hence, the wild rampage was part of a "rescue" effort.

Iran's Nuclear Program Revived

Iran's nuclear program
The Iranian foreign minister announced on Thursday that the Russian-built reactor at Bushehr has reached critical mass and become operational. While there is a difference of opinion about the "immediate" threat from Bushehr, there is no denying that this is a symbolic victory for the Iranian nuclear program and a setback for the West in its efforts to halt the Iranian march toward a bomb.
