20 Gazans were shot during the celebrations last week
Celebrate good times, come on!
On Tuesday, 18 October 2011, 20 Palestinians, including 6 children and 3 women, were injured due to shooting in celebration of the release of Palestinian prisoners. These incidents constitute a form of misuse of weapons and assaults on the rule of law prevailing in the Occupied Palestinian civilians.

After five years held by Hamas, Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit has been handed over to Israeli authorities. His release is costing Israel more than a thousand Palestinian prisoners in return. The first group have already been transported from Israeli jails - and are expected in the West Bank shortly.

Official PA daily: Israeli media coverage of PMW report on PA payment of salaries to terrorists is "incitement against the Palestinian prisoners"

The official Palestinian Authority daily has accused an Israeli newspaper of participating in a "systematic campaign of incitement against the Palestinian prisoners." This accusation was generated by the paper Yisrael Hayom's front page story aboutPalestinian Media Watch's report on the PA's recently ratified law determining the payment of salaries to terrorists in Israeli prisons.
