Back in December, US Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said the Palestinians were “an invented people.” In response, former Iraqi PM Ibrahim Al-Ja’fari told an Iranian audience that the United States has “no history” and that modern day Americans are not the true Americans.
Conversely, said Al-Ja’fari – the man whose country was liberated by modern day Americans – said Arabs and Muslims are the “pioneers of civilization.”
