Rabbis Meet MKs and Demand: Stop the Demolitions

Religious Zionist rabbis held a meeting in the Knesset with nationalist MKs and asked them to work to prevent the upcoming demolitions.

Several leading religious Zionist rabbis met at on Monday afternoon in the Knesset with members of the Likud and the Jewish Home factions, and discussed with them the planned demolitions of communities in Judea and Samaria.
Three communities in Binyamin have been ordered to be demolished by the Supreme Court: the Ulpana neighborhood in Beit El, Givat Assaf, and Migron.
The rabbis in attendance included Kiryat Arba’s rabbi, Rav Dov Lior; Beit El’s Rabbi Rav Zalman Melamed; Rav Haim Steiner of the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva in Jerusalem; Rav Chaim Druckman, who heads the Center of Bnei Akiva Yeshivas; Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Shmona, Rav Zephaniah Drori; and Rabbi Eitan Eisman, head of the Noam school system in Israel.
The discussion was led by Minister Yuli Edelstein. The Likud party was also represented by Deputy Minister Lea Nass and MKs Danny Danon, Tzipi Hotovely, Yariv Levin, Miri Regev, Haim Katz, Ofir Akunis and Zion Pinyan. Read the rest on: Arutz7
