Greetings to the Hebrew Nation community! There is a lot of buzz on the internet about an upcoming nationwide Emergency Alert System test that will be happening on 11/9/11. Yes, this will be happening. At 2pm on 11/9/11, radio/TV broadcasting will be temporarily suspended for the test. Members from FEMA, the FCC, Homeland Security, and National Weather Service are coordinating this national EAS test. What does it mean? Probably innocuous and innocent for now...But, doing this test sets up a stage/platform for the government to seize control of the airwaves in the event of a "false flag" terrorist or other emergency event. Many speculations are out there concerning this upcoming test. See the article below for details.
There were many events happening in the Middle East this past week: *There is open warfare and persecution against Christians in Egypt.
*There are NO Christians churches left in Afghanistan.
*The PA continues to push for its bid for statehood through the UN. *Syrian citizens are open game to the government if they even think about protesting. Don't miss watching Syria in Turmoil, filmed in secret, on threat of death. The film was then smuggled out.
Last week was Sukkot. Right in the middle of Sukkot, Gilad Shalit was at long last released from his 5 yr captivity and reunited with his family. The Haftorah portion and Psalm reading for that week prophetically pointed to this incredible event. It happens with a mixture of emotions: many are overjoyed with his release. Israel holds a high moral value on the sanctity of even ONE LIFE (in exchange for the release of 1000 terrorists). However, the families of the victims of those terrorists are saddened and dismayed that more terrorists will be released who could cause more harm and death.
And, of course, don't miss the top story, Cataclysmic Regional War Coming to the Middle East in this exclusive interview of Frank Gaffney, who heads up the Center for Security Policy. If and when we see this war break out, we can rest assured that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will intervene and bring victory to Israel. This would also be a strong indication that we have begun the 7 year tribulation period.

| Cataclysmic Regional War Coming to Middle East |

War is on its way in the Middle East as Muslim countries are determined to force a showdown over the future of Israel, Ronald Reagan's assistant defense secretary Frank Gaffney warned in an exclusive Newsmax.TV interview.
"I'm afraid there's a war coming, a very serious, perhaps cataclysmic regional war," he said. "It will be presumably over, at least in part, the future existence of the state of Israel. It may involve all of its neighbors, as they have in the past, attacking Israel to try, as they say, to drive the Jews into the sea.
"It may involve the use of nuclear weapons," Gaffney predicted. "But whatever form it takes and whenever it occurs, it is unlikely to be contained to that region, and we must do everything we can to prevent freedom's enemies from thinking they have an opportunity to engage in that kind of warfare."
That means standing "absolutely, unmistakably" as one with Israel and doing everything to prevent Iran getting its hands on nuclear weapons.
Gaffney, who now heads up the nonprofit Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C., was speaking on the day that the "moderate" Islamist party Ennahda claimed victory at the ballot box in Tunisia and the day after Libya's new rulers declared that country will be run on Islamic principles and under Sharia law.
"The problem is that, because ultimately they must - according to Sharia, according to what they believe is God's will - make everyone feel subdued in order to achieve their God-mandated direction, they will not remain moderate. They will not be satisfied with anything less than the ultimate supremacy of Sharia and they certainly will not resist the use of violence when it becomes expedient to get their way."
Gaffney foresees a rising tide of Islamist governments growing throughout Middle East and North Africa and spreading even further.
"We're witnessing not just the violent kind of jihad that these Islamists believe God compels them to engage in, but also, where they must for tactical reasons, a more stealthy kind, or civilizational jihad as the Muslim Brotherhood calls it. We're witnessing that playing out, not only in places in the Middle East but also in Europe, in Australia, in Canada and here in the United States as well," he said.
The spread of Sharia, which Gaffney said often is referred to as "Communism with a god," is "the most urgent and grievous challenge we face as a free people.

| Palestinian Bid for Statehood through UN: November 11th |
PA Making Final Efforts to Gain Support for UN Bid for Statehood
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas intends to ask Hamas to hold elections in the Palestinian Authority in January, Abbas' spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina said on Thursday.
In an interview with Time Magazine, Abu Rudeina said that Abbas and Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal are scheduled to meet in the beginning of November to discuss the proposal.
Palestinian diplomats are trying to muster support for a UN Security Council vote in New York on November 11 on their bid for membership in the global body.
UN diplomats said earlier this week that a Security Council committee considering the membership bid would deliver a report on that day, and that ambassadors would then decide on the next steps.

Haftorah portion and Psalm Reading for the Week seemingly ripped from News Headlines

Many of you know that there are portions of the Torah assigned for each week of the year. You may also be aware that the Torah reading each week is accompanied by a Haftorah reading from the prophets or writings of the Tanakh (the Hebrew Scriptures).
On this past Tuesday when we were gathered for our Caleb gathering, one of our brothers had been reading in the Haftorah section for the week and was surprised to find, among Isaiah's visionary statements, a word that precisely fit Gilad Shalit's release on that very day.
"Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life." Isaiah 43:4
In a fulfillment of Isaiah's words, Gilad is "precious and honored" in the sight of the Lord. One thousand twenty-seven men were given "in exchange for [him], and people in exchange for [his] life." The nation of Israel was conceived in the heart of the LORD, the Giver of life. While Israel's enemies honor death, death of their own homicide bombers and of innocent civilians and children who are killed, Israel continues to esteem life, even the life of a single soldier.
Continue to pray for Gilad and his family. Some of our close friends in Israel and even among our Caleb team have had the privilege of praying with and for the Shalit family.

What clearer sign that Egypt is turning rabidly Islamist than the fact that hardly a week goes by without a church being destroyed, or without protesting Christians being attacked and slaughtered by the military?
The latest chaos in Egypt-where the military opened fire on unarmed protesters, and ran armored vehicles over them- killing 35 and injuring over 300, with the count still rising -originated in Edfu, a onetime tourist destination renowned for its pharaonic antiquities, but now known as the latest region to see a church destroyed by a Muslim mob.

| State Department Report Reveals there are No Christian Churches Left
There is not a single, public Christian church left in Afghanistan, according to the U.S. State Department.This reflects the state of religious freedom in that country ten years after the United States first invaded it and overthrew its Islamist Taliban regime.
In the intervening decade, U.S. taxpayers have spent $440 billion to support Afghanistan's new government and more than 1,700 U.S. military personnel have died serving in that country.
The last public Christian church in Afghanistan was razed in March 2010, according to the State Department's latest International Religious Freedom Report.

ANKARA, Turkey - Cries of panic and horror filled the air as a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Turkey, killing at least 88 people as buildings pancaked and crumpled into rubble.
Tens of thousands fled into the streets running, screaming or trying to reach relatives on cell phones as apartment and office buildings cracked or collapsed. As the full extent of the damage became clear, survivors dug in with shovels or even their bare hands, desperately trying to rescue the trapped and the injured.

ERCIS, Turkey (AP) -- A foreign ministry official says Turkey will accept foreign assistance to cope with the aftermath of a powerful earthquake, including from Israel. The official says Turkey on Tuesday decided to accept offers from assistance after emergency management authorities declared the country would need prefabricated homes and containers to house survivors. He spoke on condition of anonymity in line with ministry rules.
Thousands have been sleeping outside in near-freezing temperatures since the 7.2-magnitude quake on Sunday.

HSBC chief economist Stephen King, who wrote earlier this year of a "new economic permafrost", warned last week that the systemic financial threat of a euro zone collapse and breakup risked another "Great Depression".

The Vatican called on Monday for the establishment of a "global public authority" and a "central world bank" to rule over financial institutions that have become outdated and often ineffective in dealing fairly with crises. The document from the Vatican's Justice and Peace department should please the "Occupy Wall Street" demonstrators and similar movements around the world who have protested against the economic downturn.
"Towards Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of a Global Public Authority," was at times very specific, calling, for example, for taxation measures on financial transactions. "The economic and financial crisis which the world is going through calls everyone, individuals and peoples, to examine in depth the principles and the cultural and moral values at the basis of social coexistence," it said.
It condemned what it called "the idolatry of the market" as well as a "neo-liberal thinking" that it said looked exclusively at technical solutions to economic problems.

FCC Announces Emergency Alert System Nationwide Test on 11/9/11 |

At the Federal Communications Commission's June 9, 2011 Agenda meeting, Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau Chief Jamie Barnett, joined by representatives from FEMA and the National Weather Service, announced that the first nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) would take place at 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on November 9, 2011. The purpose of the test is to assess the reliability and effectiveness of the EAS as a public alert mechanism. EAS Participants currently participate in state-level monthly tests and local-level weekly tests, but no top-down review of the entire system has ever been undertaken. What does it mean? (Commentary/speculation from The Blaze). Is the first ever national EAS test really a big deal? Probably not. At least, not yet. But there are some troubling factors all coming together right now that could conceivably trigger a real usage of the EAS system in the not too distant future. A European financial collapse could bring down U.S. markets. What is now the "Occupy" movement could lead to widespread civil unrest. And there are ominous signs that radical groups such as Anonymous will attempt something major on November 5th- Guy Fawke's day. Now we know in the event of a major crisis, the American people will be told with one voice, at the same time, about an emergency. All that's left to determine is who will have control of the EAS when that day comes, and what their message will be. |
| Deeper Meaning of US Leaving Iraq |

While troops coming home from Iraq is a relief to many Americans, how the process was managed is likely of concern to every American. Iran has had Iraq in its crosshairs for more than two decades. Iran was supplying weapons and commandos to fight against American troops there. America has invested billions over the past decade, not to mention the nearly 4,500 U.S. soldiers killed and well over 33,000 wounded. To pull out without a plan risks putting Iraq into Iran's hands and having spilled American blood in vain. It would seem that the effort would warrant more than a phone call by the President to Prime Minister al-Maliki saying that we are pulling up stakes and leaving by the end of the year.
There are many scenarios that could be read into these unusual actions by the President. From a prophetic point of view, watchmen see that Arab Spring is not about democracy but, rather, using democracy as the mask to establish Islam and Sharia law. Mask removed, Sharia is the standard bearer for law and justice and Islam is the official religion. This is true in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and even in Gaza.
This means that the enemies of Israel are further encroaching on Israel as legitimized by democracy and in the name of peace. An abrupt U.S. pull-out from Iraq signals to Iran that the nation is up for grabs, further advancing Islam and Sharia.
Jesus said in Matthew 24:4 (NKJV), "Take heed that no man deceive you." Deception is in the Arab Spring air.

| Do Not Allow Obama to Impose Martial Law |

Some people are predicting that there will be a major economic collapse, caused by unsustainable debts and other government intrusions into private economic matters, and by central banks' excessive money-printing. In America, the Federal Reserve's continued irresponsible and reckless actions will result in further devaluing the currency and huge increases in price inflation, especially in food and energy prices. Some are predicting that there will be food shortages, looting, rioting, and civil unrest and violence in America.
There are some people who believe that such events will be followed by President Obama imposing a nationwide martial law. Recent terrorism drills, such as the major drill last week in Denver, are believed to be part of the U.S. government's preparation for either terrorism or false flag events, or part of preparation for planned martial law. Obama was recently in Denver.
But the subject of martial law needs to be discussed, because it's important that the people of the U.S. states have an understanding of this before
Obama imposes martial law, which is essentially a presidential-military-rule dictatorship.

| ACORN Playing Behind Scenes Role in Occupy Movement |

The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed "leaderless" Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing "guerrilla" protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com. The former director of New York ACORN, Jon Kest, and his top aides are now busy working at protest events for New York Communities for Change (NYCC). That organization was created in late 2009 when some ACORN offices disbanded and reorganized under new names after undercover video exposes prompted Congress to cut off federal funds.
NYCC's connection to ACORN isn't a tenuous one: It works from the former ACORN offices in Brooklyn, uses old ACORN office stationery, employs much of the old ACORN staff and, according to several sources, engages in some of the old organization's controversial techniques to raise money, interest and awareness for the protests.
Sources said NYCC has hired about 100 former ACORN-affiliated staff members from other cities - paying some of them $100 a day - to attend and support Occupy Wall Street. Dozens of New York homeless people recruited from shelters are also being paid to support the protests, at the rate of $10 an hour, the sources said.

There is a disturbing undercurrent to the current Occupy Wall Street movement. It isn't merely its passionate denunciations of capitalism and excuses for corporatism. It isn't merely its perverse love for a president who has received more Wall Street money than any candidate in American history, and its hatred for Wall Street itself. It's anti-Semitism.
Even as President Obama comes out in support of Occupy Wall Street, more and more Occupy rallies are laced with anti-Semitic signs, placards, and slogans. In New York, ralliers hold signs reading, "Google: (1) Wall Street Jews; (2) Jewish Billionaires; (3) Jews & Fed Rsrv Bank," "Gaza Supports The Occupation of Wall Street," and shouting ugly canards like "Jews control Wall Street."
