Greetings to the Hebrew Nation community! The Nakba day has begun in Israel and already there have been at least three major terrorist incidents at the time of this writing, with demonstrations in East Jerusalem, a truck ploughing in Tel Aviv, and Syrians crossing the border and invading the Golan Heights. Please be keeping Israel in your prayers throughout the day. I quote from Gene and Marylois of the House of Peace in Jerusalem:
"The early colonial militia were required to be ready for warfare in ONE MINUTE. May we be like these "minutemen" in our prayers for Israel. Take a minute during your day on Sunday and Monday. Pray one minute in each hour of your day if you can for Israel as the Holy Spirit directs. Remember the LORD's advice to Jehoshaphat: be not afraid nor dismayed: "for the battle is not yours but God's" (II Chr.20:15).

| Mississippi River Closing Could Cost US $300 Million per Day |

(CBS News) As Coast Guard debates closing the Miss. River and the Port of New Orleans - one of the nation's busiest - businesses hold their breathAs many as 25 barges broke loose near Baton Rouge today. Two of them hit a bridge before they could be secured. Another danger from the Mississippi River flooding looming late Saturday is the possible shutdown of the river as a waterway for shipping. WWL-TV correspondent Maya Rodriguez reports that the costs would be staggering for closing down the big muddy river. The Mississippi River is a vital lifeline of America's economy, but if it rises above 18.5 feet - two feet higher than it was on Saturday - the Coast Guard may have to shut down shipping traffic on the river. With 12,000 ships carrying 500-million tons of cargo annually and 700,000 cruise passengers, New Orleans is one of the busiest ports in the country. "Every day that this river is closed, the detrimental economic consequence not to New Orleans but to the entire United States is $295 million a day and it grows exponentially after the fourth day," said Gary Lagrange, CEO of the Port of New Orleans.

MORGANZA, La. - Water from the inflated Mississippi River gushed through a floodgate Saturday for the first time in nearly four decades and headed toward thousands of homes and farmland in Louisiana's French-speaking countryside, threatening to slowly submerge the land under water up to 25 feet deep. As the gate was raised, the river poured out like a waterfall, at times spraying 6 feet into the air. What does it mean? In the past two months we have seen epic catastrophes all over the planet. A destructive earthquake in Christ Church, New Zealand. An epic 9.1 earthquake in Japan andensuing wall of water carrying a wake of destruction in Japan. The Fukushima nuclear reactor meltdown and radiation leakage being carried by ocean and jetstream to the West coast. Hundreds of tornadoes tearing and ripping through the south of the US. Now, the Mississippi river flooding in epic proportions, threatening a year's worth of food crops in America's heartland, causing many to become homeless. I think Yahweh is trying to get our attention. These appear to be judgments from the creator of the heavens and the earth.

What does it mean? This is a thought provoking 7 minute You tube clip that gives a fascinating interpretation of the verse from Revelation 13:18:
"Here is the wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred and sixty six."
The clip gives an excellent overview of the theory that the "mark of the beast" may actually be a reference to the Islamic bismillah, thus pointing to Islam as the antichrist "beast" of the Bible. The YouTube clip gives a very credible alternative interpretation for the mark of the beast other than using numerical gematria to decode names. Watch, pray about it, and decide for yourself....

| Bibi Netanyahu to Address AIPAC May 23 and Congress on May 24 |

Netanyahu is expected to address an estimated 10,000 AIPAC attendees on May 23 - prior to his May 24 speech to Congress. Last year, there were 7,000-plus who heard his AIPAC message, and half of Congress. That was a prime example of the support Congress has for Israel.
Please pray! Please keep Bibi Netanyahu in your prayers. Pray that he would be able to speak truth with great clarity, focus, and purpose. Pray that he would find great favor with those who will hear him speak at the AIPAC and Congress. Pray that his speech would be reported with integrity in the media war which often spins stories that are left leaning and anti-Israel. Pray that many in Congress, and among the American people will stand in unity and in strong support Israel in these days of danger and threat to this tiny nation. Continue to intercede for Prime Minister Netanyahu and the leaders of the Jewish state not to give way to international pressure to divide Jerusalem or exchange land for a false peace. |
| Obama to Give Middle East Address Ahead of Netanyahu |

| (Reuters) President Barack Obama will give a major speech, possibly as early as next week, laying out his new Middle East strategy after the killing of Osama bin Laden and amid upheaval in the Arab world, U.S. officials said on Wednesday. A key sticking point is whether Obama, who gained a boost in global stature with the death of the al Qaeda chief last week, will also use his coming address to present new proposals for renewed Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking, a source familiar with the administration's internal debate said.
Obama, who will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on May 20, is considering giving the speech before he leaves on a trip to Europe early in the week of May 22, a senior administration official said. Read more
What does it mean? The timing of the Obama speech appears to be like a carefully crafted chess move on the game board. Is he intending to "trump" Netanyahu, garnering world media attention, and thus taking the "wind out of his sails" from Netanyahu when he addresses AIPAC on May 23 and the US Congress on May 24? Is the timing of Obama's speech intending to apply more pressure on Netanyahu and designed to influence his addresses to AIPAC on May 23 and Congress on May 24? Sure looks that way! Obama leaves for Europe on May 22 and will be in Europe when Netanyahu gives his policy speech to AIPAC and to Congress. It appears that Obama will be giving the "cold shoulder" to Netanyahu, showing him disdain and diplomatic disrespect.
Meanwhile Obama will be reaching out to the Muslim Brotherhood and seeking to curry favor with them. The Obama administration has portrayed the MB as a "moderate" organization and seeks to make the MB the centerpiece of a negotiated Middle East peace process. Read more

The Palestinians are forming a so-called "Unity Government." Hamas and Fatah signed a reconciliation agreement last week, in preparation for a framework of a "Palestinian state". Hamas's stated mission is the destruction of Israel and has been designated by the U.S. as a "terrorist organization." With Hamas now poised to become part of an official government structure in Palestine, the U.S. must send a powerful message: if Hamas is involved, we will cut funding to your nation. We CANNOT support a government that includes terrorists determined to annihilate Israel. According to news reports, the Obama Administration says it's "premature" to stop funding the PA - that Israel and the United States should "wait and see" what kind of policies this new terrorist-related government puts in place.

| Palestinian Protesters Clash as Nakba Day Begins |

Palestinians demonstrating in East Jerusalem clashed with Israel Police forces on Sunday, two days after a local teenage protester was killed and as Nakba Day began across Israel and the territories. At least one protester gathered along the road to the village of Isawaya was arrested during the clashes. Read more
Prayer from Intercessors for Israel: We asked God to turn the curse coming from the Spirit of Islam this weekend into a blessing.
"Nevertheless the LORD your God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing unto you, because the LORD your God loved you." (Deuteronomy 23:5)

| Hamas Leader on Nakba Day: Zionist Project Must End |

| Hamas' leader in the Gaza Strip on Sunday affirmed the Islamist movement's hard-line principles in a speech to thousands of Muslim worshippers Sunday, as they commemorated the uprooting of Palestinians during the 1948 Independence Day War. "Palestinians mark the occasion this year with great hope of bringing to an end the Zionist project in Palestine," Ismail Haniyeh, the prime minister of the Hamas government in Gaza, told about 10,000 people at a Gaza City mosque.
What does it mean? It is ludicrous and complete folly to expect Israel to be in partnership for peace with a Unity PA government that includes Hamas when Hamas stated goal is to ANNIHILATE, CRUSH and DESTROY Israel. If the US continues to pressure Israel to divide her land, then surely the US will know Yahweh's judgment:
"For look, in those days and at that time, when I turn back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, then I shall gather all nations, and bring the down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I shall enter into judgment with them there for my people, My inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and they have DIVIDED MY LAND." Joel 3: 1-2

| Terror Attack in Tel Aviv: 1 Dead, 16 injured |

One person was killed and at least 16 others hurt when a truck plowed down a busy street in Tel Aviv on Sunday morning, crashing into a bus, several cars, a motorcycle and a number of pedestrians, in what security forces believe was a terrorist attack. The incident occurred at about 9:35 A.M. on Barlev Street, at the southern entrance to Tel Aviv. It comes amid heightened tensions as Palestinians mark Nakba Day, an annual day of Palestinian protest marking the creation of the State of Israel.

| Nakba: Syrians Invade Golan Heights |

Hundreds of Syrians broke through the border fence and entered the Golan Heights on Sunday to mark "Nakba Day" - the Day of Catastrophe when Israel was reborn as a nation-state.The infiltrators clashed with Israeli soldiers, who were authorized to open fire. Four Syrians were reportedly killed in the clashes, and dozens more were wounded. At least five Israeli soldiers were also wounded.A large number of Syrians are reported to have escaped deeper into the Golan Heights, and are being pursued by the Israeli army. Arab demonstrators also massed on the Israel-Lebanon border, threatening to break through that barrier, as well. Read more
