Shalom praying friends:

PRAYER REQUEST
I am writing asking for prayer for a dear brother in the Lord. He and his wife live in the north of Israel in Golan Heights. This brother has been in a fight against cancer for over three years now and he is growing weak and has much pain. He needs a miracle in his life, and so we are asking that you pray the Lord bring total healing and restoration to his whole being. As I write this request he is in transit to the hospital for a CT scan so that doctors may determine the next stage of treatment. I pray the doctors declare a total healing and are amazed at the healing power of the blood of Yeshua HaMachiach.

OBSERVATION
On this past Sunday Linda and I traveled to Jerusalem to tend to some tasks at hand. We drove into the German Colony and parked the car and with the plan of taking a bus downtown. We got the bus which was quite full and the bus began to drive down Emik Rafiem (the main street in German Colony) and as we looked out the front window we had only travelled one block when a man jumped in front of the bus which was probably going about 50-55 kilometres an hour. We watched as the body flew into the air landed and then was run-over by the bus. The driver desperately tried to avoid hitting the man but it was impossible.
HOPELESSNESS
When the bus had come to a stop, there was a stirring of all the passengers, and the driver was in shock and weeping. Many began to call for help on their cell phones and others sat in shock at what had just happened. As time ticked on most of the passengers got off the bus and walked back to look at the body laying in the blood. Most people were very quiet and just stood and looked at the man who just acted out of hopelessness. God knows what all of them were thinking as they stood observing and waiting for police and an ambulance to arrive. I immediately began to pray in the spirit laying hands on the driver and asking the Lord to intervene.
After the police and ambulance arrived (which was very quick) I was still on the bus looking out at how the people were standing and looking and talking one to another. It was at this point I began to consider this is a picture of how Israel in these days have become numb to the whole issue of creating a Palestinian state. Israeli's are looking at all of what the nations are saying about us not having the right to live in and on the land which the Lord gave His people as an everlasting possession. They can see that surrendering their land is suicidal, but have become tired and weary of fighting. What alternative do we have, is the question on the minds of many as they watch the infrastructure (such as border crossings, roads...) being put in place day by day to create this terror state. It appears that the majority of Israel's political leaders have resigned themselves to creating this state, fully knowing it is suicidal and detrimental to the continued existence of Israel.
We as a nation are in dire need of the Lord, yet the faith to call upon Him in this hour has been greatly tested. So many have just become hopeless in trying to go on. Being a witness to this tragedy on Sunday was very traumatic for both Linda and I. And as we watched I could do nothing else but pray in the spirit for most of the morning. Oh my brother and sisters in the Lord. We are of one family (Eph 2:13, 19)through the blood of Messiah, the family of Israel. By faith we must cry out to the Lord to awaken and revive Israel and her people that walk without hope and without Messiah. There is no hope for Israel apart from Yeshua the Messiah, thank you that you have not grown weary in prayer but press on in for the Salvation of Israel. Yeshua is their only Yeshua (Salvation).....
