Missing Woman Found Dead; Manhunt for Arab Attackers

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu
Police early Sunday morning found the body of a missing woman, reportedly an American or a British citizen, 16 hours after two Arabs stabbed her and wounded a friend. She was identified as Christine Logan.
She and British immigrant Kaye Susan Wilson, a tour guide, hiked in a dry river bed near Beit Shemesh, west of Jerusalem, after Wilson had completed a tour with a group.
Wilson may have saved her own life by pretending she was dead until the attackers left the scene after stabbing her in her back and stomach. She told police that two Arabs had bound her hands and that after they left, she reached a nearby parking lot, where passersby called for an ambulance and police.

American Christian killed by terrorists, Messianic friend wounded

    Sunday, December 19, 2010 | Ryan Jones

Arab terrorists attacked and killed a visiting American Christian woman and badly wounded her UK-born Messianic Jewish friend in a forested area south of Jerusalem on Saturday.
Kay Wilson is a leading tour guide with Shoresh Tours, which operates under the auspices of the CMJ global ministry from the Christ Church complex in Jerusalem’s Old City. Kristine Luken came to Israel with a Shoresh tour three years ago. From there she became involved win CMJ’s US branch, and then went on to become adminsitrative secretary at the UK branch.
The two friends decided to take a weekend hike through a forest between the southern Jerusalem suburb of Tzur Hadassah and the nearby town of Beit Shemesh. Along the way they were approached by two young Arab men who asked for water. Wilson told Ynet that she responded in Hebrew that they did not have any extra water, but that she did not feel good about the situation.
Wilson told Luken that they needed to get out of there, but it was too late. As the two women began to walk away and look at their map, the Arab men attacked. “It all happened so fast,” said Wilson. “Suddenly they attacked us, and one pulled out a long knife, like a bread knife.”
Wilson said that as the terrorists tied her hands she was scared, but recalled that Luken became hysterical. And that’s when the stabbing began.
“One of them turned me around and saw that I was wearing a Star of David necklace,” said Wilson. “He took it off of me like a gentleman and then stabbed me 12 times.”
Wilson realized the knife had not hit her heart, and so pretended she was dead. As she laid on the ground, Wilson could hear her friend being stabbed, but could do nothing to help her.
When she was sure the two men had gone, Wilson made a dash for the nearby highway. After walking a short distance, a group of people at a children’s playground spotted her and called the police.
An overnight search was launched to find Luken, whose had apparently been dragged away by the attackers. There was widespread fear that Luken had been kidnapped. Her body was found on Sunday morning a few hundred yards from the site of the stabbing.
Wilson is recovering in stable condition at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

    That's terrible!!!
But shame on the Israeli gov't for NOT ALLOWING civilians to carry firearms for personal protection... If there is anyplace in the world one needs to carry protection from Arabs sworn to kill you, it is Israel... Their blood is on the gov't of Israel as well... The right and DUTY  to protect yourself EFFECTIVELY is throughout Torah...
My hand would have been on my handgun in readiness as soon as I saw them approach...
So sad............. What a terrible way to die.

    I agree with Robert.

It is very sad and a shame that Israelis  cannot carry guns.. the only ones are police and IDF..   I have  freind that lives near JErusalem, I cannnot remember  the name of the town at this moment, (I had to drive through a muslim town to get to his place .... that will be happening more and more as they give their land to the enemy of YHWH) but he skyped me that he was FINALLY aquited of being accused of having "too much " ammo in his little traielr. He is former IDF nad is a body guard  for tour groups in Israel..

In the 9 months i lived in Israel, I went hiking alot, and I never saw Arabs roaming around.... I feel extremely fortunate now !!

this is terrible this lady was killed and the other one injured. how sad ..... The governemtn needs to wake up.... Only Yeshua will be able to do that .....

The victim’s hometown in the US was not known.
Survivor Kay Wilson, a tour guide who worked part time for Shoresh Tours, a Messianic tour company, told investigators she and Luken had been attacked Saturday by two Arab men with a knife and she only survived by pretending to be dead.

Arabs Murder American Woman

Word From Yerushalaimsimantov@wordfromyerushalaim.com

Saturday afternoon, (Dec. 18), Israeli Messianic sister Kay Wilson (46), tour guide for Shoresh Tours, went on a hike with Christian tourist friend, Christine Logan. They sat down on a hill off the trail near Kibbutz Mata. Two Arab men jumped them.

Kay reports that they removed her "Magen David" necklace and stabbed her 12 times with a long serrated kitchen knife. She pretended to be dead. Christine panicked and started screaming. She was also stabbed. All their money was stolen. Kay passed out briefly; then awoke with her mouth gagged and hands tied behind her back. She heard Christine moaning in death throes.

Kay managed to stumble down to a nearby parking area and was found by a group of Israeli children. Police searched the area throughout the night. Christine's corpse was found Sunday morning. At the time of this writing, the murderers have not yet been found. Miraculously, Kay is recovering well in the hospital.

The mystery of the stabbing attack near Beit Shemesh continued to swell Monday as members of the missionary organization CMJ, to which murder victim Kristine Luken belonged, expressed their certainty that she had died in a terror attack.

Kay Wilson, Luken's friend, told police after her escape from the attack that she believed it had been nationalistically motivated.
"We told the police that Kay is a serious and honest person who doesn't make up stories," Reverend David Pileggi of CMJ, short for 'The Church's Ministry among Jewish people', told Ynet. He said the organization would hold a memorial ceremony for Luken on Thursday.
