Rabin Memorial Defaced, Terror Orphan Claims Responsibility
A memorial to former Prime MinisterYitzchak Rabin was defaced overnight Thursday. Friday morning found the monument in Tel Aviv bearing the words “Price tag” and “Free Yigal Amir.”
Unlike in similar cases of “price tag” vandalism, police managed to nab a suspect immediately, and the young man in question confessed to his actions at once.
The man in question, today in his mid-20s, lost his parents and multiple siblings in a terrorist bombing as a teenager. His family’s killer is among the terrorists expected to be released next week in exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.
He told investigators that he had perpetrated the vandalism for what police termed “ideological reasons.” Read the rest on: Arutz7
