A few hours after Netanyahu held a press conference to address how he plans to solve the housing crisis, leaders of the tent-city protest held their own press conference next to Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, where they dismissed Netanyahu’s offers outright.
Netanyahu’s speech was met by boos and heckling at the main tent city on Rothschild Boulevard, where activists said the prime minister didn’t present any general solutions to the housing problem, and accused him of trying to placate the demands of students in order to get them to pull out of the protest movement.
