Senior Iranian and Norwegian diplomats in a meeting in Tehran stressed the necessity for the further reinvigoration of the bilateral relations between the two countries, and urged both sides' officials to utilize abundant intact potentials and capacities to this end.
"There are abundant potentials and capacities in the (two countries') relations and the two sides should make use of these potentials in order for us to witness expansion and progress of these relations," Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said in a meeting with outgoing Norwegian Ambassador to Iran Roald Naess in Tehran on Tuesday.
He also described the bilateral relations between Tehran and Oslo as good.
The Norwegian diplomat, for his part, expressed the hope that the ties between the two countries would further strengthen through increased efforts by the two states' officials, lamenting that capacities existing in Iran-Norway relations have remained intact.
