In light of the Libyan refugee crisis, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has agreed to allow 300 refugees to return to their former homes in PA-controlled areas in Judea and Samaria. Netanyahu thus acceded to a request from PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas, also known as Abu Mazen.
Some 170,000 Libyans are already said to have fled the country in light of the civil war that has developed in the country. Tens of thousands have entered Egypt and Tunisia, respectively.
The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel has some questions on Netanyahu's decision, which it says “may endanger Israeli civilians.”

“Some of these refuges may have been previously involved in anti-Israel or terrorist activities,” the Forum states in a release today. “Were Israeli security authorities involved in this decision? Do these refugees pose a threat to public security?”
