On December 3, a forest fire devastated the serene domain of Carmel Mountain, and destroyed the wildlife, destroyed many homes, and took several lives.
The fire reached Yemin Orde Youth Village, and though the staff and children were able to evacuate unharmed, the village, that has provided a home for many young people across the years, was not as fortunate.
Despite this tragedy, the spirit of Yemin Orde continues on as the community rebuilds.
