The city of Jerusalem has removed a memorial to a Fatah terrorist that was put up in the neighborhood of Shiloach (Silwan), outside the Old City of Jerusalem. The plaque was removed following a complaint from the Land of Israel Legal Forum.
The memorial was originally put up by Arab residents of Shiloach at the site where the terrorist was killed. He was shot as he ambushed and attacked a Jewish security guard along with two others.
His image was on the plaque, superimposed on a map of the land of Israel. The symbol of the Fatah terrorist group was on the plaque as well.
